Majors: Most Important Criteria – The test scores required by Auburn to get in were very important. They set a very high standard for those who are wanting to be enrolled and accepted into their university.

Facilities: Social Scene...School Pride – Auburn University says it all....Tiger town at its best. The whole campus as well as the surrounding communities speak nothing other than a big family. There is so much pride in those that are not only attending but those families that live in the community who are so proud of their alma mater and what the college brings to the locals. When driving through their is a sense of

Transportation: Tiger Transit – Tiger transit is included in the tuition, so it is in your best interest to use it.
It runs from campus to locations off campus. It is very convenient and easy to use.

Local Atmosphere: The main thing that I would like to say abouut Auburn is that the people are amazing. It truly is like one big family. There are many things to do downtown. The nightlife is really awesome there are some really good bars to go to. For the ladies shopping downtown is nice the are some really great boutques to check out.

Drug Safety: Drinking Is the Biggest – I think that the main thing that goes on at Auburn and probably almost any other college is drinking. College kids like to drink and it is shown at Auburn.

Overall Experience: Auburn is truely one of the most amazing placces that I have ever been. I love everything about the school and town. It's like everyone is your family. There is always something fun to do and there are many things to be involved in. Auburn is the only place that I can see myself going to college. I would choose Auburn again if I could because it is everything that I have hoped for in a college.

Health & Safety: Extremely Safe – I feel extremely safe on Auburn University's campus. There are emergency poles everywhere on campus as well a security shuttle and an escort service that are all readily available. I have been on campus alone by myself many times at night and have always felt safe. If anything does happen on campus or in the surrounding area, we are immediately notified through AU alert, email and even twitter.

Computers: Network Can Sometimes Be Slow – The network at Auburn University can sometimes be slow and it is often hard to get a connection on the first floor of some buildings; however, this is not an everyday occurrence and the problem is usually resolved rather quickly.

Health & Safety: Safe Place to Be – Auburn University is a very safe place to live.... there's 24 hour security and the Police are only a phone call away.

Athletics: Auburn has a wonderful athletic department, and we are definitely known for are dominating Football Program. National Champions. Warrrrrrrrrrr Eagle!!!!!!!!!!!!

Majors: Business Is the Way to Go!!!! To me being a Business major has it's pros and cons, but ultimately I wouldnt choose any other major to be apart of. The hard work of a Business will definitely pay off.

3 College Junior

Majors: The Life of a Business Student – It's good to be in the Business field, one just has to be willing to work hard because the Business Major is very competitive

Majors: Not Hard – It isn't hard to get into your desired program, you just have to be willing to get the job done.

Greek Life: No Sorority Houses – At Auburn there are only fraternity houses and not sorority houses. Each sorority has a hall and a chapter room in the dorm buildings in the village. While sorority dues are not nearly as expensive compared to at other universities, it really is something the girls miss out on the experience of being in a house together.

Athletics: 2010 National Champions ! Auburn athletics are a really big deal. Especially football. Our fans are the "AUBURN FAMILY" and our motto is "all in". Everyone LOVES our football team and supports the team no matter what win or lose. The big event is the Iron Bowl against Alabama.

Parking: Don't Even Try – If you live on campus, you get to park a little over a mile away from where you live. If you live off campus you can (and are advised) to take the Tiger Transit (free for students) onto campus. Otherwise you get to fight over parking spots in lots that are varying distances fromt he core of campus. Of course you can park at the mall or Winn Dixie, both places are okay with this and cathc transit from there. Auburn is a predestrian campus, so there are few parkignlots, as thre are few roads on campus that you can drive on.

Diversity: Pretty Average – Yeah, there's a lto of white people, but I think it is probably proportional to the overall percentage of white people in the country.

Drug Safety: At Least in Honors – Most of my experience is in the Honors college, and I know that there's not much going on in my dorm. (Football games are, of course, a different story).

Off-Campus Housing: Tons of Options – For the huge student population, there are hardly any dorms on campus. Freshmen are not guaranteed housing and because of that, many people never live on campus at all. There are LOADS of apartments that are either an easy walking distance, a short car ride, or the tiger transit picks you up in front of your complex. The conditions of most apartments are great! For the most part, they come furnished and are cheap for what you get. If you are a freshman who is discouraged about not getting on campus housing, don't be! There are several great choices for you that are cheaper and give you more freedom.

Facilities: Really Great – The facilities at Auburn are really nice. The arena, football stadium, student center, and library are always kept immaculate. The campus is very clean as well. It's simple to get around and find these areas and they are all aesthetically pleasing so you'll want to go there.

Athletics: High School Spirit Is Abundant – Basically, the kids for the most part come to auburn for the football games--get drunk to to frats. Its like high school without parental supervision. However, they are just now getting around to building an althelic center, so if you need a locker room Forget it! Also the weight lifting facility is old and outdated.

Campus Dining: No healthily food anywhere. The smoothies on campus have like 80 grams of carbs. Fast food with high calorie and fat content is abundant.

Parking: I have a total of three fifty dollar tickets for parking outside my dorm to bring in laundry for approximately 15 minutes. They also automatically deduct the amount from your e-bill. Totally uncompromising and unfair. Absurd. Parking is among if not THE most complained about problem at Auburn.

Campus Dining: Grease Is the Word – There is absolutely no where on campus to eat healthy food. And I am not one who is usually concerned about healthy food, but you can only take so much Chik-fil-A, Chik-N-Grill, Lupton's, Taco Truck, blah blah until you scream "CAN I PLEASE GET A SALAD PRONTO!" I have actually lost weight because I cannot stand eating the food on campus.

Parking: Most of the parking on campus is accessible anywhere you go.

Overall, students are very happy to be in Auburn. They love the people around them and the experiences that they get to have.

College is what you make of it. If you sit at home and don't do anything, then you won't enjoy yourself no matter where you go. With all the options you have offered to you at Auburn, you have to try to not have a good time. And with a student body that is so happy to be here, it's also hard not to get swept up in the excitement. As always, it's a good idea to visit a college or university before making a final decision. Make sure you're as happy and comfortable as you can possibly be.
