Campus Dining: You can find what you need to eat anywhere

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live off campus.

Off-Campus Dining: There is enough variety to where you can choose what you want, but generally not like other states.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Guys and girls can easily get along and respect each other.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Most of the atmosphere revolves around the college.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Auburn is a great experience. War eagle!

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: There are scholarships for almost every area that students exceed academically

Diversity: Almost everyone is from the local area, and they all act and look pretty much the same

Local Atmosphere: This is such a great town. Everyone is friendly. There are several little boutiques downtown as with chain stores. There is a huge variety of places to eat. There is a variety of places for a night life. The town is a very safe place to live as well.

College Freshman

Scholarships: I did not apply for financial aid. There are very few scholarships given to the pharmacy department. I want to avoid student loans, as do most people, so the lack of scholarships is very upsetting.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: There are certain roads that you are not allowed to drive on on-campus if you do not have a pass; this is to help eliminate bad traffic during the school year. Parking is very strict on campus; most places you are towed the first time instead of tickets.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: There are many different options for off-campus housing. There are apartments within walking distance of campus. There are many mobile home parks close to campus with Transit stops that will take you to campus. There are townhouses close to campus that are filled with college students.

College Freshman

Greek Life: I am not part of the Greek life on campus. I do not know anything about the housing available. Greeks are pretty easy to pick out on campus, but that does not mean you are shunned if you are non-Greek.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: Diversity is very prevalent on campus; however, I do not feel that you are treated differently or shunned because you are from another country, have different beliefs, or have a different sexual orientation.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There is just about everything you could imagine around campus, large variety of fast food options, average priced sit down restaurants, and a few fancy places for those special nights with that special someone.

3 College Freshman

Majors: I have not yet had an internship. I will start having rotations at different pharmacies starting next Fall. I do not have any concerns on finding an internship because the school is very successful in providing them. The only training I have had so far is working as a pharmacy technician at a local pharmacy.

Majors: The application was a universal application online called PharmCAS. It was very easy and straight forward. The most important things for admission were PCAT scores, GPA, and letters of recommendation. The biggest tip for admission is to put your whole heart into it, and you won't regret it.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: There are just about every different "type" of guys and girls on campus. There are preppy, athletic, sloppy, gothic, theatrical, and anywhere in between guys and girls on campus, but for the most part I would say if approached they would all be friendly and willing to help if they could.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: There are emergency phones located across campus that are directly connected to the police in case of emergencies.

4 College Freshman

Campus Dining: There are a wide variety of food options on campus. I really like that some of the restaurants are located more than once on campus making it much more accessible since campus is so big.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: Although some policies are tough they aren't actually enforced. It's pretty easy to get away with just about anything in the dorm as long as you aren't caught. Some teachers may drop you but for the most part your attendance is only a factor if you fail the class

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: Campus is pretty on the outside and totally walkable. The student center and library are nice. There are two or three building that all students dread going to but this is a small number compared to how many buildings there are total on campus.

Local Atmosphere: There is enough to do to fill a weekend or two and if all else fails you can hop across the border and go to Atlanta.

Overall, students are very happy to be in Auburn. They love the people around them and the experiences that they get to have.

College is what you make of it. If you sit at home and don't do anything, then you won't enjoy yourself no matter where you go. With all the options you have offered to you at Auburn, you have to try to not have a good time. And with a student body that is so happy to be here, it's also hard not to get swept up in the excitement. As always, it's a good idea to visit a college or university before making a final decision. Make sure you're as happy and comfortable as you can possibly be.
