Local Atmosphere: I go to classes at night, so my experience with my college community is of the older crowd. Most of the students that I attend school with have full time jobs.

Local Atmosphere: Montgomery is a city of rich history embedded in civil rights. The downtown area is starting to become a hot spot for nightlife and cultural events. However there are certain areas of Montgomery that are very dangerous and no one should go to under any circumstance. There were many shootings around Montgomery last year but with the death of local and nationally famous rapper, Doe B, the people of Montgomery have banded together to stop the violence in the area. There is a semi-pro baseball team, The Biscuits, that has a stadium downtown but that is the only professional sporting attraction in Montgomery. Some of Montgomery's neighboring cities are a part of the Robert Trent Jones golf trail where nationally recognized events have been held. The east side of Montgomery has a nice outdoor shopping mall called Eastchase.

Local Atmosphere: There isn't much to do in Montgomery, but I am originally from here and all of my family is here. Auburn and Birminham are close by and have much more to offer.
