Campus Dining: I have no extra comments.

Campus Housing: The campus housing has become much better than it was. We just got brand new dorms called Warhawk hall which are almost exactly like apartments just with stricter rules. One down side is that the dorms are very expensive. They are $950 a month. The amenities are awesome and they are very convenient.

Greek Life: I love the Greek life at AUM. I am a Zeta Tau Alpha. I believe Greek life improves the social life at AUM because we are always doing bake sales and having booths set up with food that always bring people together. Another thing that helps improve the social atmosphere is the different philanthropies each sorority/fraternity posses. Greeks are not about parties like everyone thinks we are about helping our community become a better place by raising money for good causes such as breast cancer education and awareness. At AUM there are no Greek housing only because we aren't large enough yet. Non-Greeks view Greeks as snobby and cliquey but when they begin to talk to us and realize that we join a sorority/fraternity to help us become the woman/man that we are meant to be.

Off-Campus Housing: Off- campus housing is expensive, and it is not very safe. It is easy to find an apartment, only if you can afford it. The safety in Montgomery is also a large concern due to its 40th murder just this year. One pro is that there are some apartments in close proximity to my college. One again that comes with a price.

2 College Junior

Drug Safety: Drug safety is not as strict as it should be. Although there are not a lot of students that uses drugs, there are a few. The few that use drugs get away with it because there is a wide range on independence and privacy when it comes to being in dorm rooms.

Campus Dining: Although students often get tired of eating at the same places, it is very convenient. Especially when you have been studying all day and you are feeling starved. The NC dining hall is one of the best.

Off-Campus Dining: Apple Bee's is a very good restaurant and it is only about 10 minutes away from campus. They also have reasonable prices. I love their 2 for $20 deals.

Greek Life: They made their presence known, but it's not something I want to be a part of.

3 College Student

Guys & Girls: Is better than what I expected. A lot of the students focus on Christianity. They're very much into their own cliques, no real diversity. I'm speaking from a kid coming from the city to a small town. You'll find a lot of stereotypes here.

Campus Dining: They have a Papa John's which is a really popular. They don't serve everything is on the menu place above. It takes too long to get a personal pan pizza. The sandwich place is okay, but not the best. There are no international options. And a small salad bar. No real focus on healthy eating. The staff is friendly but young and will quickly change focus from food to social life. The other thing is the $600 Meal plan that you have to stretch out to the end of the year. Oh and if you pay with credit card be careful because of the holds get placed on your account.

Guys & Girls: Variety of people from every background, but it works

4 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Great nightlife for people who do not like to party, but for the people that do like to go out there are plenty of schools around that offer parties.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I have received a good amount of financial aid from AUM. From what I have experienced so far the financial aid process that I was required to do in order to receive financial aid was a breeze. It was not as difficult as I thought. In order to get the most information and opinions I would suggest to future students that they need to make an appointment with their financial aid officer.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: I would give this a B because the drug safety at Auburn University at Montgomery is not too terrible and is not exactly the best. If you are walking from classes each day you would be able to notice that AUM has certain smoking corners where all the smokers like to hangout and enjoy a smoking break after class. I have not seen any alcohol or nor have a come in contact with peer pressure since I have been at AUM.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Lots of choices close by. Panera, Red Robin, Chick Fil-A, Texas Roadhouse, Cracker Barrel, Chili's,....

Parking: I've learned that the average 'arrive 30 mins early' for a good spot doesn't work for AUM. You need to arrive at least 45-60 mins early to even consider getting a close spot. Any time after that and you don't get close to your building.

College Student

Nightlife: I don't stay on campus, but I'm guessing since there are a lot of younger students, it really shouldn't be one

College Student

Guys & Girls: I don't live on campus, I don't stay on campus any extra time past classes, so I don't know what the girls and guys are like on campus

Majors: I am a nursing major. I love taking my lower division courses. I have always dreamt about becoming a neonatal nurse and I am very determined to reach my goals. I love my school and I know I would not be as happy if I chose another school to attend. I do not have a concern about finding a job in my field after graduation because 97% of nursing student find a job within three months after graduation.

Drug Safety: At Auburn Montgomery the drug scene is not a big deal. I have never come across anyone using them on campus and I know plenty of people.

Health & Safety: I always feel safe on campus. The campus police are always on duty. I have night classes and I feel very comfortable walk back to my dorm room.

Weather: On campus, it can be a number of things going on with the weather. It can be nice and sunny in the summer (although hot), and recently it has been raining a lot. Mostly, it's inconvenient when it rains because you have to track across campus, and the outside stairs turn into waterfalls. I mostly like the fall and winter months on campus.
