Career Services: I have not been to career services at my school yet but I have heard that is it very good and very helpful for the people who do not know what they want to do yet.

Academic Flexibility: Academic Flexibilty – My experience at ACCC has been pretty good so far. The workers there are very helpful. I did have some issues with sending my grades to other colleges but in the end all was figured out.

Student Body: My school's student body is made up of an array of different people. There are students who are parents and have full-time jobs that are trying to continue their learning. There are many young students who are there fresh from high school. Mostly the students are there are young and looking to futher their knowledge and advance in life.

Overall Experience: My overall experience at school so far has been great. It's much more intense than high school yet the different atmosphere is intriguing.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am happy with the financial aid program, however, it would be much easier for me to go to school if I received a book check. My family struggles financially so heavily that it is so difficult to purchase books.

Campus Resources: The campus life is very alive. It gives everyone a sense of comfortability and protection. I enjoy how close it is to my house, and how many of my nursing courses are available at my closes campus.

Campus Resources: Printing on Campus – I really dont like the printing on campus in the library they make the students pay for whatever they copying and print. I feel as though we pay enough for are classes and books that the least they could do is not charge us for that.

Academic Experience: Class Registration Process – I wish that around the time of class registration, there were more people to help the students. I feel as though there are not enough staff for that job.

Campus Resources: Good Stuff – Computers are nice, but it gets cold outside sometimes...

Student Body: Pretty Decent – The students are... Average. Some of them take their college courses very seriously, because they are working to provide better for their familes. But the younger people take this college very offhandedly. They're lazy and unwilling to commit to work because this is "community" college. But it's their money that they waste, and the professors have no problem kicking out unruly students from the classroom so I don't have to worry about my money being wasted.

Academic Experience: Pretty Good – My workload is decent, and easy to keep up with as long as I keep on top of it. Nothing I have in my semester isn't related to my major, and I feel like I'm learning quite a lot.

Overall Experience: Pretty Awesome – The campus is small and local; so it's very easy to get help from at least someone. Every teacher mentions anything that can help you, with it's MyMathLab or when the tutors will be in the Library to try to help you. The syllabus gives out their emails and office hours, so professors are very accessible and easy to get a hold of. And most classes also have a Blackboard going on, so if you miss a lecture or want to double check something you can simply log into that using your Student ID.

Online Courses: Less Time Consuming – Some online classes are good to take. Math wouldn't be one.

Campus Resources: Priceless Atmosphere – Atlantic/Cape Community College Cape May Campus is small but everyone no matter what position they hold will help you with any assistance that you may need. The Mays landing Campus is closer to where I live but I'd rather drive further and pay a toll to attend school in Cape May. The employees are priceless.

Career Services: I personaly dont know how good the post-grad services are at my school but a couple of friends of mind had a hard time transfering their credits to Stockton college, a 4 year college after they graduated from ACCC.

Online Courses: You Are in Control – Everything about the online classes can be summed up, in that its your choice in how you handle your work load. You can plan a schedual to do your home work and take your test whenever and u can get an easy A. Plus the online classes applied to rel world situations like how technology can help us get to anywere in the world useing a GPS.

Academic Flexibility: Transferred Credits from High School – I was able to transfer my 13 credits from high school with little to no problems. I am able to attend ACCC while working a part time job and various acts of community service. My school is only 20 minutes away so it is very convenient and the classes are great.

Academic Experience: Up to this point all of my professors have been very helpful in my transition back to school. I have been out of school 25 years and it took me a while to get readjusted.

Academic Flexibility: The teachers here seem to really care about their students success. They are available through email if you need, however, do not have much interaction with students outside of class. They work with students and help them build their way to success.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Students in Need/Vs Those Not – I have found that a lot of the students that attend this campus has financial help, a lot of which are grants or scholarships. I am only allowed to take out loans. The school also charged me wrong so I had to come up with over $3,000 unexpectedly. The school did not make the fees known until last minute. Also, I have noticed that a lot of the students that receive grants and other help do not apply themselves in their classes. There are students, like myself, who have to try and figure out ways to pay for school who take things seriously and work hard. I feel that things should be looked into more carefully when it comes to tuition and financial aid/need.

Atlantic Cape is a very good college for students who are not quite sure what they want to do for a future career, or who cannot afford to attend an expensive four-year college. It offers a wide variety of classes on many campuses, and the campus advisers are always willing to answer questions or guide students toward a major that will work for them. Atlantic Cape professors will prepare their students for transfer to a larger college through their lessons. Most students improve their writing, math, computer, and any other skill applied to their major before transferring junior year, which gives ACCC students an edge in their new school.

Atlantic Cape Community College is unique for many reasons. It provides students with an oppurtunity to get all of their general courses, such as math, over with at a much cheaper cost than other colleges. It gives individuals returning to school after a period of time an oppurtunity that fits with their schedule and school experiences. Atlantic Cape is an overall great school to choose because it has great teachers and a good student atmosphere no matter what age, and it is close to home and convienent.
