Campus Resources: Resources on Campus – I think there should be more enthusiasm and collaboration within the clubs and activities. There are clubs that do not put much effort into the material or activities and are a bit dull at times. They should be more dynamic.

Academic Flexibility: Academic Flexibility Frustrations – One main thing I got bfrustruated at was the fact that the students with more credits get to pick their classes first, leaving others with the classes that they might not be interested in. I understand one has to be considerate of others who need to finish their credits and transfer, but I also think there should be more flexibily for others too.

Online Courses: Just like any other college, online courses can vary from being extremely hard with a huge work load to extremely easy with very little amount of work load. I would recommend online courses with specific subjects. Then, I would suggest against some online courses due to they are twice as hard as a sit down in class lecture. An example would be never to take Calculus or Micro Economics online. An example that I would suggest to take online would be one's English courses. Sometimes the professors answer immediately online, but then there are some that take forever to answer a simple question and sometimes its too late. The peer-to-peer interaction is great because the students are always willing to help and they are online more than the professors are.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The college advisers try and help individuals out as best as they possibly can. In order to receive the best help is to have all of your paper work in order and done before approaching them. It helps the financial advisers understand better and they move a lot faster.

Academic Flexibility: Class Flexibility – There was an issue with registering for my Spring semester. All Freshmen had to resubmit their
vaccination records in order to gain access to registration online. For some reason, they didn't have them. I had sent everything in but they didn't have it.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Value of Education – I thought the value of my education was worth the tuition. It is definitely affordable.

3 College Senior

Career Services: It is up to the student to seek internships mostly. In the communication department, faculty are very supportive and helpful in getting internships.

Campus Resources: Technology Was Slow – Wi-Fi internet was awful and the internet connection in the classrooms was also very poor. When professors try to supplement a lesson with a video from the internet, it almost never played all the way through without having to stop to buffer.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: Professors welcome comments and criticisms. Most classes encourage open discussions.

Student Body: Depending on the area that you're in within the Mays Landing campus, being in the library would without a doubt, provide very studious students who are serious about their academics. However, when you're outside, cafe, or student life center, too many students grouch around and would encourage skipping classes and not doing school work. Although they're friendly and social, being that I take my academics seriously, they're aren't the students to be around with. In the end it's an alright environment that does have a balance of academic influence and social one as well. Their is no race dominancy. but rather an equal amount.

Campus Resources: Atlantic Cape Community College offers classes that are transferrable to many 4 year Colleges in New Jersey. They also offer Rutgers business courses within Mays Landings campus, this gives the students to get a head start on taking courses from Rutgers and not actually be there, and at the same time they're saving money. Many programs such as Nursing, and Air Traffic Control are also offered. The School offers a large variety of classes that are enough to get the student on a base map of what they would like to pursue. Meanwhile, they're also saving plenty of money !

Academic Experience: Professors Are Very Involved – My professors at ACCC are amazing! They do not give a heavy workload but we accomplish a lot in class and they always keep us entertained!

Overall Experience: Content With Choice – My experiences have been unique to say the least. I would choose my school because of the proximity to my home and the great education it offers

Campus Resources: Multiple Opportunities for Studdent Interaction Outside of Classrooms – ACCC offers many diverse clubs and activities for its students from Student Government to clubs and sports. They have a Gym for basketball, volleyball, etc. and a workout room for students. There are also fields for baseball/softball, achery, outdoor volleyball, and much more. The student life center has a ping pong table, pool table, and gathering areas for students.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: Great Resources. ACCC has multiple computer labs on campus where students can access the internet or type up assignments. Wireless access is provided everywhere on campus and in classrooms and the library is an excellent resource.

Academic Experience: Nursing Program – As a student in the Nursing program I have found the courseload to be easier if you go into the program with a medical or biology background. Clinical hours are long and students are expected to work hard to achieve a passing grade for this program of study. I took all of my prerequisites and electives before entering the program so that I could devote all of my time and energy to the nursing courses required for graduation.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: Excellent Staff – I have really enjoyed the staff at ACCC. Whether I am taking a Nursing class or just an elective I have found all of my teachers to be helpful and approachable. Smaller class sizes contribute to a great learning experence. I have learned more in my time at ACCC than I did at Widener University.

Online Courses: One Stuent Class – My online math class is the first class i have ever taken online. There is little no no peer to peer interaction. The professor is every good with email stuents back in a timely manner. The work load is not overwhelming at all. The registration process was very easy if you are sign up for web advisor you can register for all you clas right online

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Life Long Committement – I am a Nursing major and it is deffiently a commitement. The workload is intesne but nothing i didnt expect for being a nursing major.

4 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Godo for the Price – In feel like the education I received was actually really good for the price. The financial aid department was easy to deal with, they were nice. Tip: From personal experience, it's best to file your fafsa online as early as you can and then go to the financial aid office no later than finals week

Academic Flexibility: I chose ACCC for it's convenient location, flexible schedule and low cost. I feel like I got quality education and I met many wonderful people. ACCC is a good place to start your college education and the enrollment process was a breeze. Just make sure you get there as soon as registration starts to avoid the long lines.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Open Mic Nights – My school has "Open Mic" Nights and encourages the student body to join. Students can perform for a unique opprtunity or come and enjoy fellow students talent.

4 College Junior

Career Services: Career services at Atlantic Cape Community College are appreciated. ACCC provides a fulfilling amount of information to students interested in any topic of career. ACCC also provides a list of careers for students interested in jobs during the school year which is also very helpful for students who have loans or are looking to make extra money.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: Online Course Experience – I was worried about taking online courses because I would not have a teacher to answer my questions right there and then, but I came to discover that it is not that difficult aslong as the student reads the text in the books required and completes assignments on time. I enjoy my online classes for the reason that it supplies me with more flexibility.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: Atlantic Cape Community College has reasonably good sources. The clubs they offer are very informative one way or another, and the activities the campus offers helps to associate with new people, and make new friends. The library has space to study comfortably without interruptions, and has enough space to have computers for students at all times. I appreciate everything the campus offers, and have no complaints.

Atlantic Cape is a very good college for students who are not quite sure what they want to do for a future career, or who cannot afford to attend an expensive four-year college. It offers a wide variety of classes on many campuses, and the campus advisers are always willing to answer questions or guide students toward a major that will work for them. Atlantic Cape professors will prepare their students for transfer to a larger college through their lessons. Most students improve their writing, math, computer, and any other skill applied to their major before transferring junior year, which gives ACCC students an edge in their new school.

Atlantic Cape Community College is unique for many reasons. It provides students with an oppurtunity to get all of their general courses, such as math, over with at a much cheaper cost than other colleges. It gives individuals returning to school after a period of time an oppurtunity that fits with their schedule and school experiences. Atlantic Cape is an overall great school to choose because it has great teachers and a good student atmosphere no matter what age, and it is close to home and convienent.
