4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Atlantic Cape is very affordable at $108 per credit for in county students. The FAFSA was very easy to fill out and the financial aid staff at the school was very helpful. I was awarded a good amount in grants and am able to attend school completely free of charge, including books and supplies.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: Very diverse. There are students of all ages and ethnicities. I have never seen any issues regarding acceptance of others.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I love Atlantic Cape. Small class sizes, helpful staff, nice and modern facilities, and great professors.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I am still studying so I have not utilized these services yet. However, there is a very helpful employment board with postings of available jobs in the area for current students. I have noticed it being updated often.

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: I love Atlantic Cape. I attend the Cape May County campus, where there are smaller class sizes and more of a small community feel. When I go to school I always see friends and familiar faces. Most of my professors have been great, very knowledgeable in their fields and willing to help. I feel like I'm getting a great education here.

4 College Freshman

Career Services: From what other students have told me they really do help you very much.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: The mew extension will be excellent and add to the school's progress

5 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: They have been better than I could have expected. Never a problem, or delay at all.

2 College Freshman

Online Courses: Very impersonal. Then one class I have taken on-line did not go well. Got no Help from professor when I needed it.

3 College Student

Overall Experience: I started off attending a math class with a friend, the teacher was great and it seemed much more easier to learn.

4 College Student

Academic Experience: i just started ACCC and from what i've seen of Major studies, it looks fantastic, i haven't had any problems with teachers, or students. it's well organized, the workload is representative of a 4 year college. the main campus has more extra curricular programs, all in all it's a great resource to have the building itself here.

4 College Student

Academic Experience: the professors are great, they're friendly and seem very down to earth, the class registration process is simple, the workload given is enough to handle at a steady pace.

3 College Student

Campus Resources: they have a wifi router in the main hall, the internet speed is alright, hasn't failed me yet.

4 College Student

Campus Resources: the library isn't much to ogle over, but they do have tutors there who're ready to school you. the building's architecture is fantastic, i still marvel over it today.

3 College Student

Online Courses: i haven't enrolled in an online class yet.

3 College Student

Student Body: from what i can tell, we have a very diverse student body, with people being young or old, and of different ethnicity too.

3 College Student

Tuition & Financial Aid: I'm not really that keen on paying four-hundred dollars on a two day a week, one hour class.

i can't say anything about the financial aid office at the moment.

4 College Student

Academic Flexibility: I don't have a job yet,I'm studying for an LPN degree, so I'm able to get there without hassle.

3 College Student

Facilities: from the classes i've taken so far, my math teacher did a fantastic job of keeping the classroom a casual environment in which i was able to absorb more of the lessons, so far i haven't been able to participate in any events mainly because i haven't been informed, but from what i see in the building, people socialize in a moderate amount. When i went into another college to ask about them, it felt very intimidating i appreciate how ACCC gives off a warm feeling.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: the registration was the hardest part for me, I wanted to take up something they didn't have and still don't, to this day. So taking classes down in cape may then going to mayslanding is a lot of time wasted on a bus and money.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: its easier to communicate with the teachers online, inside the class room they want to get things moving in a steady pace.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: I actually love the library, it not as big as the public but easy to move around in. the only problem there are not as many books as I hoped.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I have not tried to transfer yet, I'm still a freshman.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: my major is culinary arts, but the do not have the program at accc. So I'm taking my prerequisites at the cape may county accc and then by next semester I will be in culinary arts in mayslanding.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: there is nothing that keeps me there, to stay longer then needed is what I mean. Its like yes I seen my old friends or many people I've known but that's it.

Atlantic Cape is a very good college for students who are not quite sure what they want to do for a future career, or who cannot afford to attend an expensive four-year college. It offers a wide variety of classes on many campuses, and the campus advisers are always willing to answer questions or guide students toward a major that will work for them. Atlantic Cape professors will prepare their students for transfer to a larger college through their lessons. Most students improve their writing, math, computer, and any other skill applied to their major before transferring junior year, which gives ACCC students an edge in their new school.

Atlantic Cape Community College is unique for many reasons. It provides students with an oppurtunity to get all of their general courses, such as math, over with at a much cheaper cost than other colleges. It gives individuals returning to school after a period of time an oppurtunity that fits with their schedule and school experiences. Atlantic Cape is an overall great school to choose because it has great teachers and a good student atmosphere no matter what age, and it is close to home and convienent.
