Academic Flexibility: Ease of Access – The over all convieniance of managing courses and such has been great. My credit transfer needs have been fairly simple so I've not run into any real issues. The only issue that was annoying, was that one class I was looking forward to was dropped at the last minute by the school

Student Body: My school mostly consist of people who work a full- time job, and just there to get their GPA up so they may transfer. Most of the students are not really as focused as they should be but they are getting better.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: I'm a general studies major but my concentration is science. The classes are fairly easy if you study, and really but your all into your schooling. As far as electives I have had to take social problems and found it to be very interesting. The material you do in the science courses are interesting, because if you like learning new things about the human body you should find yourself paying more attention. The workload for a general studies major is not intense, but you do need to but a lot of thought into your assignments in your science courses.

Student Body: I've noticed that my school is very diverse in religous, and cultural types of people.

Campus Resources: Student Resources – My school offers excellent resources to the students in need of them. They have a cafeteria with great food, a library filled with books and other resources needed by the student body. The library even stays open late during midterms and final exam periods. There are also many campus activities such as: field trips, sports and a wide variety of programs available for student in any field of study.

Career Services: Alumni Network Weak – There are very few alumni events held on campus. Graduating students do not know there is an alumni chapter. The alumni chapter does not sponsor anything for students. They have little or no visible presence.

Online Courses: Is It for You – Depending on the subject, there are some classes that I do better online than others. Having an instructor that is accessible in person and well as online is always helpful. If future assignments are accessible take advantage of it. Create an online study group. I could set my on workload to manage my time.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Start Early – Start early in filing for your financial aid. The process in very detailed if you are applying for the first time. The tuition fees are not bad for a community college. You get a good educational foundation for an associate degree. There are no fluff classes offered. You do have to work to earn your degree.

Campus Resources: Computer Labs – There are several comupter Labs on the main campus. I have seen one at the location Downtown Atlanta. We are able to print in labs. We have access to computers int he library also, with printing options. If you do not have a personal computer and printer at home, you can use the labs at school. I have never experience a wait to use technolgy.

Academic Flexibility: Transferring Credits – The school I transferred from is in the University O Georgia System, so the transfer went smooth.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: After I completed the paper work, and resubmitted paper that was lost the process went smoothly. The staff was very understanding. When I see the financial aid staff out on campus the ask who my classes are coming along. Great experience!

Academic Experience: They have extra help available. You can either choose to have a tutor, or use other resources such as online help from the courses given.

Campus Resources: Flexible Class Schedule – My school has an amazing class schedule that is very convenient for me being a full time employed and a single parent. classes start as early as 6am and as late as 9pm and has online and saturday/sunday classes if needed.

3 College Senior

Career Services: Post Grad Services – they work with University of Georgia and now has a four degree for medical students.Affiliation with some Georgia Universities.

3 College Senior

Student Body: There is not a big hand full of diversity at my school. majority is African American.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: The facilities to me are beneficial. The school has a mandatory orientation class which opens the door to all the programs and offices available at the school to aid students in anyway.campus activities include the habit for humanity volunteer program, financial workshops, learning center for students who need to be tutor. Ive use all of these programs and they helped me out a lot while attending this class.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Computer Technology – The wireless network at school is accessible. you can automatically detect the wireless netowrk and there are no passwords or firewalls. the computer labs are easy accessible and there is always a computer available.

Academic Experience: Mass Communications Communicating With the Students – I am a communications major, and the classes ive taken so far had everything to do with mmy major. i like how we relate our curriculum with the things that are happening now in todays society.

Academic Experience: LOVE the Down to Earth Professors – Professor Bell is so amesome , she has help me tremendously. The curriculum is tough but with the small class sizes everyone can get the attending they neeed. We have a Study lab that is provided at least 12 hours of the day, if help is what you need thats no problem.many student have gone on to some of the best 4 year University in the business field like Emoryt Georgia Sate just to name a few..

Overall Experience: If you like Ghetto-fied school's then this is perfect for you. Whatever you do stay FAR away from this school. I find faculty to be very disrespectful and rude. I hated this school the minute I walked into the admission Office and was greeted with "What do you need". Theres a lady working in the admissions office who is extremly ghetto and complained about how we were taking up her time and that when it was her time to clock and and go she was going because she had "better" things to do. I hate to say it but I was treated 1,000 times better by faculty and teachers at my previous school which was predomintely WHITE...yes I said it. Faculty at black colleges always seem to have these nasty attitudes. Either that or they try to patronize you and speak to you as if your some young lost child. Aside from faculty being complete azsholes the finance office screwed up my Post 9/11 Gi Bill (which pays for my college) and now I'm stuck with some ridicoulous balance on my student account which means my transcripts can't be released until its removed. Mind you this has been going on for nearly 3 months and my father has gone up there numerous time to have them fix it and they have yet to get crap right. I hate this school. It's complete garbage. If you live in the Fairburn area I'd recommend going to a community college in Douglasville or GMC.

Campus Resources: The Network Is Great – Atlanta metropolitan computer network is great. The system is always running only problem I have is the beginning of fall and spring semesters because everyone is getting their classes, but what school doesn't have that problem. The one thing I would want to change is after 12am you cant log in to see personal things on you student account.

Academic Experience: Business Major – Being a business major is great at Atlanta Metropolitan. The teacher there are like family they want you to succeed

3 College Freshman

Career Services: Good Career Center – My school is setup to prepare all students to enter into a four year institution. Therefore, for what they do I feel they do an excellent job.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: I would rate most of the students as goal oriented. Going to school with these student pushes me to compete for better grades. Unfortunately, there are a few students that treat school as an extension of high school. However, I believe that it is not the job of any school to baby sit anyone. Especially, those that are looking to waste time. As in life those individuals will eventually, get weeded out.
