Facilities: My college is a casual college where young and older generations mix together nicely. The tuition price is very reasonable, plus staff help students save even more money by keeping up to date with free government monies administered to certain programs. The college has extremely low crime rates, so I can feel safe walking to and from classes. Our campus is filled with wonderful, diverse people and is clean and ready for success!

Student Body: The studnet body is a variety of people with positive attitudes. Every person I've come across here is always smiling and easygoing. I like that because where I'm from people look at you crazy if you smile and say hello as if it's a crime to be polite. Everyone is treated equally according to ethnicity differences, and opinions/personalities are respected no matter your sexuality, religion, or political stance.

Campus Resources: So far, the staff has been friendly, the instructors are people-friendly and understanding. I don't have time to utilize the school resouces or attend any of their engaging student activities which are always tempting, because I am a parent of multiple children and an independent business owner.

Campus Resources: there is always internet access throughtout the whole school some areas you may need wifi code to do so! but all you have to do is ask the staff and they will pass it on along to you

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: lending library is great when you dont have the extra money to pay for the books you get to borrow the book for the entire semester!

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: the school is great and they have very good area of quiteness to work on work or study

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel the financial aid process can be difficult, I am a returning student from 8+ years ago and can not get financial aid until I complete 60% of the classes I attempt. Although I am making good grades, I can't take more than one class at a time because I can not afford the tuition for more than one class out of pocket. I am eligible for the Pell Grant but the school will not honor it because of my financial aid exclusion. The mistakes I made in the past are very hard to fix now that I am an adult and am very serious about school.

Academic Experience: I am not currently in my program of study, I have only taken a few core classes, and they have been really fun.

Academic Experience: The professors that I have experienced thus far have been extremely helpful. They are always willing to help. E-mail seems to be the best form of contact with them but it is super effective.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The program is small. The first two semester do not allow you to take a full course load. There is no flexibility to take an additional class or to take a class during a later semester.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: There is not a lot of flexibility since the program is so small. Each class is only offered one a time a year.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: The program only includes two professors. The first two semester's only include 9 credit hours or less. The school does not work with federal loan programs.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Even though the student body is friendly I feel that where the school is located it keeps people from knowing we are there and keeps from getting more students to the school.

College Junior

Online Courses: I have not taken an online course

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education I'm getting is worth the money but I feel that I was a little miss lead when it came to which classes I needed to take. I ended up having to switch my major from nursing to medical assisting because of the cost and the time it was taking me to get to my intended graduation date. I get little help as far as financial aid and the school does not accept a lot of loans that could be beneficial to the students there.

Campus Resources: Since Athens Tech is a technical school there are not very many activities or resources. Most everything is the bare minimum to help you finish school and move om.

Academic Flexibility: I was very disappointed with this aspect of my school I think it is a bit ridiculous the I have to pay a small fee to change my major when I have yet to sign up for classes.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I'm very lucky to be going to a school with such a highly rated nursing program and I think a good school is work the price. As far as cost I think they are on par with other schools. I've not had any trouble with the financial office they've always been wonderful in helping me in whatever way possible.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I can honestly say I have had no troubles with my school so far they have been so helpful every step of the way. Especially when it comes to helping picking a major.

3 College Student

Campus Resources: Our computer network is a bit dated for 2013, and they could definitely add more to the campus so that students wouldn't have to wait in line to print a report.

4 College Freshman

Student Body: There are a variety of student body, some are part-time students, other full time, some work really hard to earn their credit and to pay for college. Some people really struggle with financial aid but they are willing to work really hard to keep their education going.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: the resources are good, the campus is pretty good.

College Freshman

Campus Resources: I can"t give a review about this school since i have not yet attended

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Since our school is small I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of new people, which I think its great because in many times they have taken the same or similar course I am taking, and they help me prepare and study for things. I also like that our school has like a coffee shop area where you can chat and meet people and study if you like.
