Academics: Human Services and Rehabilitation Studies Review – The Assumption College HSRS major provides its students with the knowledge to be successful in their careers. Professors genuinely care about students and vice versa. Class sizes are small and conducive to a better learning atmosphere. Students gain the ability to help people from all walks of life realize their full potential in society.

Scholarships: Could Be Better – I am not dirt poor but I am not rich. I received a decent financial aid compared to other students. BUT they all have millions compared to what my parents make. If you make appointments with the financial aid they will listen but you have to get your point across. If you tell them you need money they will take a second look and try their best. Also getting good grades will help you get more money if needed.

Nightlife: 21 Over – If your 21 or over the night life is more vibrant. You dont have to worry about campus police telling you to open your back pack. There are plenty of bars in Worcester, MA. Campus is mostly dead unless some senior throws his 21st birthday party.

Campus Dining: The food at assumption is pretty averqage, there is taylor which is the typical dining hall that offers a buffet but sometimes the food is not that great but the benefit is that there are multiple choices. Then there is charlies which offers more sandwiches and customization.

Parking: Parking is pretty hectic especially when there are special events. There are a lot of restrictions on parking and if a certain kind of permit you can only park in certain parking areas which makes it harder. In addition campus police will ticket you for parking in the wrong area even when they have instructed you to park there due to construction

Academics: The Best!!! Academics are awesome at AssCo. Professors are attentive. Class sizes are small. Workload is average to above average. Meeting with profs is convenient and always helpful. There is a tutoring center on campus that is a free service run by students who have previously excelled in the classes you need help with. The career center also helps to locate internships and job opportunities after graduation.

Diversity: Just Another Average Joe – The school seems to be mostly White, Conservative Catholics. There is only a handful students that are ethically and sexually diverse.

Athletics: I Don't Know – I have never attended a sports event on campus and I will be a senior. The sports facilities are great. However, despite student athletes working hard =I feel as though there could be more fan support and school spirit. We have an awesome stadium and gym.

Weather: It's All Good – Our campus is absolutely beautiful and I love walking to class. Knowing that the school is located in New England it is expected that there will be a good amount of snow in the winter, especially in Worcester so I can't really complain. But during the summer and fall months I love being out and about on campus.

Academics: I am a biology major. I find the class requirements pretty challenging, especially with labs.

Nightlife: There Are Things to Do – On the weekends there are things to do both on campus and off campus. The clubs in Worcester are sometimes 18+ but mainly they are 21+.

Diversity: A Little Bit Diverse – I seem some diversity on campus. Mainly I see white catholics.

Facilities: Need More Excitement – It would be better if Assumption offered more activities that would interest students on campus.

Majors: I DO NOT Regret Psychology – Psychology is very interesting to me and I am glad I picked this as my major.

Majors: Pretty Easy – The process of getting into my Psychology major was relatively easy. I enrolled in classes and declared my major during my sophomore year.

Majors: Work Study – It is okay. I like working with other students and faculty.

Campus Housing: Get Better as the Years Go on – The choice for freshman housing are limited, yet they are right in the middle of campus. Upperclassmen dorms are a little more out of they way but they are quite new.

Scholarships: Only One With Trouble – Assumption College gives out scholarships after reviewing your application to the school. Most students get those academic scholarships. When it comes to financial aid most students say that is why they chose Assumption. However, that was not the reason in my situation.

Campus Strictness: Strict About Strikes – Every college campus has to be strict when it comes to alcohol and drug use. Assumption College has a four strike policy. If a student is underage and in the presence of alcohol they will most likely have a hearing and receive a strike. With each strike community service and a letter is required. If a student reaches their fourth strike they are expelled from the school.

Computers: Printing on Campus – Most colleges require the student to pay per page they print. However, at Assumption College all printing is free. This is a huge advantage to all the students because it is one less thing to worry about. The only down fall is once in a while the printers have technical problems.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Not Bad – The classes are pretty easy for the first year. It's mainly classes you have to take to be able to get into the harder classes. This isn't for all the classes though, most of them you have to work at it. Also if you need help there are many opportunities for extra help.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Awesome Place – So far my stay at Assumption has been a lot of fun. I enjoy the schooling and the people are really nice. Everyone is friendly and wants to help. It's easy to make friends, have help with studying and learning real world lessons.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: A Lot of Noise – The housing while is really big and convenient, is really loud and sometimes distracting. It depends on the dorm you get into. For instance Salisbury and Nault are major party dorms. This can be distracting even if you don't live in the area.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Professors Help – The professors at the college really want you to succeed. Since the classes are smaller to be more personal, it's easier for professors to learn who you are and how to help you. They also can help with being references for jobs.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Not Much to Do – While there are a lot of areas of interest, there's not much to do if you are under the age of twenty-one. It's mostly bars that are around the area, and you have to go out of the town to do much. However every once in awhile something cool comes into town. Recently the DCU center had some cool shows.
