Academic Experience: My classes have been pretty basic. I'm a liberal arts major and much of my studies have information that I learned in high school. I'm hoping to major in psychology when I transfer but so far most of the classes that I take have to fulfill the requirements for liberal arts, which consists of your basic english, math, sciences classes, ect. The work can be mundane but I shouldn't complain because the workload is very manageable. I still have time to work a part time job, have a social life and stay on top of my studies.

Online Courses: it can be easier for scheduing but more challenging to get in touch with instructors. for the most part I prefer these courses

Academic Experience: The registration process is easy, and most of the teachers are friendly. They get to know us, not just educationally, but our personal preferences so they can adjust their teaching styles to reach all kids. Most of the time they grade based on if you learned something knew rather than on how great an essay is. The point to them is that we understand the topics and can apply them to every day situations. It really helps that the teachers aren't focused on handing out grades but rather that we improve.

Academic Experience: The marketing class split up into groups and do a real marketing analysis on local businesses. The consumer behavior class does a survey to predict how much people will spend during the holidays. The advertising and promotion class do a car show to promote a car show at a speedway at the end of the semester. Economics courses write an essay on a topic of their choice and relate it to economics. Overall my business courses are helping me out in learning the stuff I need by making me do real life projects.

Student Body: Most students come & leave without focusing on learning part. The groups are split between the kids who learn easily, and the kids who have difficulty with that. There are many foreign students who are trying to learn as well as the mid-age people along with the elderly to change their lives. A great thing is that community service is required in certain classes and most students help in the library or in the child day care room.

College Sophomore

Online Courses: I haven't chose to take online classes yet so I am unsure of how my school portrays them.

Overall Experience: It Was "Ok". I have attened this college for two years and my general experience from this school was "okay". There wasn't much activities that I wanted to participate in and there was little to no spirit at the campus.I can't say I had any memorable moments or experiences. However, sice attending there didn't hurt me financially when compared to attending a University I was able to accept that. So, yes I would attend the college over again.

College Junior

Career Services: I Don't Know – I haven't had any reason to use any post-graduation services, yet.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Not So Great – Almost all degrees at Asnuntuck require a class called "Self and Others" While I got an A in the class, which helped my GPA, it was a total waste of tuition money. The class is a joke, because I can't tell you one thing I learned. I still don't really know what the class was about. My teacher had one class be off campus, and gave us waivers to sign after we went. It's ridiculous that I had to waste 3 hours of my life every week for a class that didn't do anything for me.

Academic Flexibility: Easy Location of School – I like the convenience of where the school is compared to where I live. It's only about 3 miles away, so getting from school to home isn't a hassle.
