Off-Campus Housing: The proximity to campus and options of off campus living depend upon if you stay in Ashland. I commute from a different city about 20 minutes away. This off-campus living has been great for me because it is less costly than living on campus.

Off-Campus Housing: Ashland doesn't allow students to live off campus till you are 22 years old. Unless you are in commuting distance then you can't live off campus.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: The off campus housing is reasonable. There are many options of houses but the variety is all about the same. I'm sure they are a reasonable price but only students old enough can live off-campus. It would be more convenient for a college student to live off campus and not have to pay the fee for room and board which is incredibly expensive. Students have enough to pay while in school, why shouldn't they have the option of living off-campus and saving money, at whatever age they are.

Off-Campus Housing: I am not really sure what off-campus housing is like. I commute so I do not really have to worry about it. But I am sure the college helps in whatever way they can.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: It is all near campus, older houses, houses are not all kept up. They are not close to shopping and restaurants. All parking is on the street. I haven't checked into cost or availability. Safety is pretty much the same as on campus.
