Academic Flexibility: My experience at ACTC has be really good. They have worked with me alot on my schedule.I am a full time student and I am in Drug court.Actc has worked with me and drug court on my schedule.

2 College Senior

Campus Resources: Limited at best. We have a library and a cafeteria.

3 College Senior

Student Body: Students here are career oriented, interaction happens most in the cafeteria.

Online Courses: I'm actually not a fan of online class in general, but I cannot downplay the convenience of being able to work on them at anytime, allowing for a much more flexible work schedule. The workload varies depending on the class, one of my classes has work and quizzes do weekly, while another has only 6 assignments all semester (including the exams).

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: Other than the fact that I rely upon the school network 5 days a week to work on course material for my entirely self taught program and it seems to go in and out at least once a week, I can't find a bad thing to say about school.

3 College Junior

Career Services: My school has done an excellent job of partnering with local businesses and health care facilities in providing employment oppurtunities while taking classes and post-degree long term employment. Through the work study program the oppurtunity to have a personal advacate for students to connect with linked carreers is very accesible.

Campus Resources: For a 35 year old home schooled single father the thought of going to school was daunting to me. I knew if I wanted to reach my career goal I had to attend. From my first day of the process I was made to feel as if they wanted me to attend this school and succeed at my goals. All my misgivings and nervousness dissapeared almost immidiatly after the first day of class. I found that not only was I not alone in my type situation but that my fellow students were open and friendly, and my professor's were most helpfull in explaining their expectations and how to obtain success in there given classes. My time here at ACTC has been well spent and they have left me with no doubt that I can and will be able to achieve my goals.

Academic Experience: Although my school does not offer majors in my selected field, psychology, they have given me the right tools to put me on the path to transfer. the gen-ed classes are valuable in that they are preparing me for future university level classes. I am in the ready-to-work program and the job availabilty has been flexible enogh to work with my schedule, along with understanding supervisors, they have given me the time to study without being looked at as not doing my job as with public employment.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The advising office here at my school does a top rate job of helping shape your schedule and class requirements to fit my single working father schedule.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I have had a good experience to date with my classes, instructers, and availability of advising at my current school. They make it obvious in many ways that they want you to succeed, and for one like me; being out of school for almost 20 years this was unexpected and exciting to know that there is plenty of help and encouragment along the way.

College Junior

Online Courses: I had never been to a public school setting in my life so starting back to school at age 35 was a new and seemingly daunting experience. I opted out of online class options, of which my school does offer many, to get the in-class experience that I never had the oppurtunity to have in grade school. In the future I will be looking closely at this option.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I chose this college because of its flexibility to attend the class schedule I needed.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I fee the online class is great. It helps me juggle my classes with my everyday responsibilities.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: I rate this college a A-.most of the student body is like myself. Mid-age working class people who is seeking education to secure a new career challenge.

2 College Junior

Campus Resources: Facilites are limited. Facilities include, library with a few computers, no cafeteria just a Givonis. It also includes a theater.

3 College Junior

Student Body: The majority of the people in my school are working parents with families to worry about. many of us have a lot on our plates at any single time. Yet we all are there trying to better ourselves in order to provide a better future for those families. Most of the students are friendly and willing to help you out if they are able.
