The Career Center helps students and alumni by providing them with jobs, internships, mock interviews, cover letter tips, resume reviews, and various workshops. Sometimes the Career Center will provide students and alumni with potential employers or a few resources for potential employment, but mostly students and alumni are pretty much on their own. After students graduate from Ashford and become alumni, they can get involved in campus events, recruiting on campus, or sometimes guest lectures.

In terms of the services provided by the Career Center, transferring credits from school to school is fairly easy, although a majority of students say that they probably wouldn't be transferring any credits to other schools. Overall, Ashford University gives students and alumni the knowledge they need to complete their education and the tools to find successful jobs. Many feel that they will be able to climb the corporate ladder after completing their education.
