Career Services: The school has job seminars and what not to connect students to employers. But, it is not very useful for students attending school online.

Student Body: school consists of all kinds of people. They are all just interested in working hard to obtain their degrees.

Tuition & Financial Aid: financial aid is a headache! still waiting for approval! had to upload same documents multiple times! customer service was not all that great either!

Academic Experience: Course material and teachers have been great over all. They make it quite easy to get started and that is great. They work with you the make sure that you are adapting to college life and class work. For the most part the information that you need in online and they are adding more information daily. The online library is great and they are always there to assist you. I have and issue with the fact that they changed a class on me after I had already purchased my books, but other than that I am very pleased.

Academic Flexibility: I have had some computer and health issues and this university has been extremely flexible for me.

Campus Resources: I take classes online so I am not sure about the school's network.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial services department was amazing. The department guided me through the process of completing all paperwork.

Campus Resources: My school is amazing, the staff is very concerning and helpful. They encouraged me o further my education when I was undecided. The process was very easy to manage with the help of the admissions counselors and financial aid reps.

Academic Flexibility: My experience with Ashford's flexibility is great. Most of the classrooms are set up the same, so I pretty much already know how to navigate through. My first class was an orientation class which took us step by step on how to get around. My admissons counselor was awesome. He had me enrolled, and ready to start my first class within a week. My financial advisor took me step by step over the phone on how to fill out my financial aide and loans. I couldn't have done it without him. It took us almost an hour, but he was very patient, as is the rest of the staff.

Online Courses: In general our professors are prompt. Our grades are posted within 2-3 days after the due dates. If we need any help what so ever, they encourage us to reach out to them. If they don't know the answer they will help you find it, but generally know. Here is a perfect example. All of our papers are APA formatted. Most of the tutorials are based off of word 2010. I, however, have word 2013. I was at a loss on how to format a running head for my very first paper. I emailed my teaching assistant and within 24 she was very apologetic that I had a problem and posted a link to youtube with step by step instructions.

Student Body: Ashford University has an online campus and onsite campus. I attend the online version. We are very diverse. We range anywhere from a 24 yr old, stay at home mommy of 4 kids, to military staff, diagnosed with ptsd. Nevertheless, we all have on goal in mind. Trying to get a degree. None of us have any problems getting along, and we are all very supportive of each other. Who are we to judge one another.

Campus Resources: i am taking online courses so the only campus resource i really have is the online library but it is so easy to use and very helpful and i am sure that if i was on campus i would have just as many great resources

Online Courses: they are so simple to complete and turn in assignments and the teachers are really helpful and know what they are talking about. the assignments really teach me new things and they are easy so i am not pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to complete them. they work around my life and don't take over my life.

Student Body: i attend online courses and most of these students are not looking to make friends or socialize they are trying to get an education. but in discussions they are quiet nice and friendly enough.

Campus Resources: I attend my college online so I only have access to using the website's library, which is easy to navigate and use. There are many sources to use.

Academic Experience: I'm a Psychology Major, and my classes are much better than what I had experienced at the other colleges I attended before transferring to finish my bachelor's degree at Ashford University. The professors are very knowledgeable and make learning a better experience, which has helped me gain a better perspective for psychology and all that I need to know for my degree. My workload is much easier to manage since each course is five weeks long and one course at a time. To stay enrolled it is important to post once a week, as well as stay up to date on assignment deadlines. I have learned more about psychology throughout my time at Ashford and learn something new each course.

Student Body: My school consists of a wide range of students. Students that come from all around the world and who juggle kids, jobs, and school work. Most of the students are focused primarily on getting their education and working hard towards this goal. Although, I feel that some of the students don't try hard enough and I am honestly shocked at some of the posts I read from other people. You can tell who will succeed and who will fall short over a period of a few courses. Mostly the students are very helpful and considerate of the other students and faculty.

Online Courses: I was concerned with the whole online course idea at first. I was not sure how I would do considering I had never even looked at an online classroom. However, I was happy to find out that the online courses at Ashford University have proven to be more effective in the way that I learn, than my previous on campus University. The online classroom is based on writing about material you have read. This is easy for me considering I only have a few grammar and punctuation errors that need correcting.

Academic Experience: I am very satisfied with my decision to attend Ashford University. The professors and teaching assistants are very helpful and punctual. The curriculum covers a wide range of learning possibilities and broad overlook of the aspects in each chapter. I was automatically registered for my prerec courses. Overall, I am happy with the academic experience at Ashford University.

Academic Flexibility: I chose this school because I was hoping it was more flexible but I was wrong the only thing that might be good is the classes cost less, but the University of Phoenix is better.

2 Recent Alumnus

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am sharing my daughter's experience at Phoenix and she gets so much support from her financial aid department. The tuition at Ashford is less, so I chose based on that factor, however we always wonder if it might have been better to attend Phoenix.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: The information and focus of learning is excellent.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
