Online Courses: I was very nervous when I started taking the online courses. After the first two classes I was able to set a routine. The work load is a little high at times, but I am able to work it out and the teacher understands that we have a job and family as well. They are willing to work with me when needed.

Academic Experience: My experience is so new right now that an A is what I see as being the grade. I can't give much detail as to any aspects of the program internships/job opportunities as yet due to I just started my program.

Academic Experience: The academics offered are excellent. You have the choice to take one class at a time or two if you desire. Taking one class allows you the time needed to study and concentrate on your subject. Advisors are constantly in contact with you insuring that all is well. Instructors make themselves available to make sure each student is okay with the class and the work assigned.

Campus Resources: We don't have any computer labs. The speed of the school internet is great. We have had problems with but nothing major.

Campus Resources: The fact that my school has a libraries online is great to where I don't have to go to a public library. I would love to go to some of the campus activities but I stay in another state.

Campus Resources: I like the fact that if something happens to you like a illness or problem in the family. They don't hassle me and when I was ready to get back in school. They were great about getting me back in school. I wish I could visit the campus but I live in another state.

Online Courses: I love the courses, the only thing is that it takes a lot of work to have you in an A grade. It only takes less than 1% to drop it 10%. It's fun to comment on all the students work and critique each other. For some classes, the workload is a lot. I had classes with up to 5 big assignments per week on top of a Test at the end of the week. This is not to include all the reading required. Overall, It's an experience that only prepares a person for the future, so it's worth all the effort.

Campus Resources: The curriculum, teachers and the advisers are great

Overall Experience: Going back to school was the best decision of my life, and Ashford helped make that possible. The online classroom was perfect for my busy lifestyle, and the heavily research-oriented coursework helped me learn and apply the information I was absorbing. I not only feel a sense of accomplishment, I feel as though I have learned a great deal!

Campus Resources: The network itself seems rock solid. It has only been down for maintenance once in the year I have been attending. Loading the online classes never seems to take long, and never seems to hang. The time-out of the library and classroom portals does seem a bit short, but this is not a network issue, it is, unfortunately, by design.

Online Courses: Ashford made it incredibly easy to return to school. I had previously gone to a brick-and-mortar institution, but with a job and other responsibilities, that was no longer a possibility. Though there are indeed deadlines for assignments, class participation and "attendance" is very flexible, fitting in with my schedule nicely. I do not feel that the convenience of online coursework has in any way provided me with a lesser education, and in fact, taking only one course at a time has helped me retain the course information much more easily.

Academic Flexibility: Ashford has been very helpful, truly above and beyond, from my enrollment counselor to my financial and academic advisors, to instructors. I began my degree at a different institution, but left in search of another college after unresolved issues. Ashford has been very accommodating in terms of working with my class schedule while I continue to struggle with retrieving my transcript from the previous university. Their understanding and flexibility are so refreshing and appreciated. The instructors are so involved in the classroom as well. They are in close contact with each student, each assignment, very knowledgeable, and expertly handle teaching in the online forum. Ashford is top notch!

5 College Junior

Online Courses: As a single parent who works full-time, online courses have been a saving grace for me to return to school and receive a college degree. Ashford's program is flexible, the workload is reasonable, and the professor/student interaction is very enjoyable through discussion posts.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I chose Ashford University because of its online program, the cost associated with each course and the length of time spent on each course. I transferred from another university and the process was very smooth and all of my other college credits transferred to Ashford. So that helped me make the decision to attend their online program.

Tuition & Financial Aid: My experience with the financial aid process was very smooth due to the assistance of the Ashford financial aid department. I believe the quality of education I am receiving from Ashford is worth the tuition I am paying. I am currently a Junior and plan on graduating from Ashford University in 2014.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am about to begin classes soon after so many years. Ashford U was the way to go hands down based on the assistance they provide to get going. I am thankful to the staff that have been helping me get ready for school.

5 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition and financial aid at ashford university is very cheap and helpful to everyone. I am a military spouse and they were able to help me with a discount. I wasn't able to use my husbands GI Bill but any discount helps a lot.

Campus Resources: I'm taking online classesbut formthe information postedon the web page everything looks well.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: We do require own own personal computer or access to the local library. But as far as the site for Ashford, it is quick, easy to use and you can access any resource that you need for your education needs!

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: I give this University an A+. I believe this because the student portal includes anything that you can possibly be offered. They are always available to help out and ask any questions that may come up!

5 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I can attend my class any time of the day or night you don't have a set time that you half to attend class as long as the post are in by the correct day it doesn't mater what time you log in to do it. also most teachers will work with you when life happens.

Academic Experience: Always there to help you when needed. Will answer any questions you had over the materials for the week.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Very thorough and well thought out lesson plans. The instructors are always there to answer questions you have over the material and try to assist you in any way possible. So far, I have not had a single class that was just "useless." They've all meant something and I have learned from these classes.

5 College Sophomore

Online Courses: The workloads are very structured and for the most part manageable. One of the things I was worried about was how any questions I had about my course would be addressed. The instructors at Ashford are excellent about responging in a timely manner and are very helpful. All I had to do to become registered at Ashford was fill in the blanks, the administrative staff did everything physically possible that they could for me. My experience at this college has been outstanding and I am very pleased!

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
