Tuition & Financial Aid: Education is very important. Without financial aid it will be real hard for someone to go to college. Make sure that you submit financial aid on time to help pay for college

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: Not a lot fo campus activites. The student center is great and the library.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: It has been a great experience at the school. Teachers and staff are always check in by email or on the phone to make sure that everything is going good. Very good college.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Online course are great. Since I am kinda shy and do not like talk in front of people. My grades are a lot better online. I understand my assignment a lot more. Teacher are always their to help you if you need it.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Most of the students in my school are working or parents. I have come across many that are in the military as well. There is great diversity in the school and that helps to have a wider opinion of the world around me. There is great acceptance in every class I have been in and the students are very willing to help each other out with any questions that they can.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I chose this grade because this college is very helpful in finding out what I need to know to succeed the best I can in my college career. The school is very flexible and the teachers are understanding during some of the hard times that come up in life. It is very easy to talk to my administrators to get answers to questions I may have. I really enjoy this college.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I am a psychology major and I have been extremely pleased with everything thus far regarding the program, workload and curriculum. I am an online student so the facilities aren't an issue for me. The internship/job opportunities aren't either as I am out of state. My classes are 5 weeks long so they are fast paced but very doable.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Everything has been very user friendly for the entire time I have been attending AU. I have only had one professor I could not work with and submitted my complaints with the appropriate personnel. They were very responsive. I have no complaints at all.

5 College Freshman

Online Courses: I love every course at AU. AU courses has helped me think teach my own self how to use my mind in a in many areas like that I have never really understood. Taking online classes has helped me to better control my life and organize it in a way of keeping up with my work and making me responable.

College Freshman

Career Services: I am still a undergradate so I really have not used these services.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: Most of the schools body are also employed, and many are in the military. We have the flexibility of online classes and this works well for us.

4 College Sophomore

Career Services: They have many alumni networks and career forums to help after graduation.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: Well this school is nice but it is similar to other schools that have online programs. However they were more prompt then some other online schools I tried.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I am taking the psychology program and there are workshops to learn about job opportunities once I finish.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I like this school and I feel it is a good school but it still is not the best school like others I have seen.

3 College Freshman

Career Services: I have heard great things from this school and hope the Career Services does apply when I do graduate. To help me in all the decisions I make as a graduate from Ashford University.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Reasons why I am still continuing my courses with Ashford University:
I can be very flexible with my schedule, I am also able to attend it online and not have to go to a physical classroom. I have enjoyed it with my passing classes so far. I do recommend this University to all new coming students.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: I had never taken online courses before going to Ashford. I like it, however. I do not feel scrutinized by the teacher, and I didn't have to worry about traveling to classes.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I really can't say what the post-grad services are like at Ashford. I really haven't utilized it, but it appears that people are getting needed help.

3 College Junior

Student Body: I am taking a class of C++ (Programming Concepts). I am indebted to one of my classmates who took the extra time to help me because I received a book without the CD and because I have Windows 7 instead of Windows 8. Most of the students at Ashford works, but they are helpful.

5 College Student

Online Courses: I have never gone to college at a college but the online experience at Ashford is amazing. If you are stuck there is always help no matter what it is and there are tutorials and mass amounts of information available 24/7. All I have to do is log on and I can do work from next week to free up my schedule and never have to worry about dragging myself to class I just do my work when I'm awake and ready.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The college itself is wonderful! My admissions counselor Elizabeth is absolutely amazing and calls me at least twice a day to check in. The teachers are very helpful and allow you to take time to research and prepare for all assignments as well as making sure the materials are very informative. The financial aid advisors are amazing unless you get Trisha who does not like to respond to emails or pick up her telephone. If you want your financial aid to be done quickly I would suggest talking to Michael Andreasen instead.

3 College Senior

Online Courses: Courses are not really bad especially the Sociology courses

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: Some things need to change such as the way financial aid is distributed in a timely manner

3 College Junior

Student Body: Some of the students seem average at best, especially in upper level classes.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
