Online Courses: At first I was worried about earning a degree online but after I started it was pretty easy and very convenient for me with being a single mother and working a full time job. As far as the workload goes some of it was very challenging but I was able to get through it. By doing the online course I have really learn how to manage my time so I could get my assignments done.

5 College Senior

Campus Resources: I'm an online student so I don't know much about the on campus amenities.

3 College Senior

Tuition & Financial Aid: Asked by too many people in the financial aid office for the same doc., which I had already sent in multiple times.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: With Ashford U. So far it was very easy to get in and taking only one course at a time is the best thing that has ever happened to me so far I got my grade up to a 3.3 and it has never been that high ever. I am very happy with my Instructors also they push but don't push you over the edge . I recomend ashford to newer students, and also to students who have had a troubled past in staying in college. It really is a wonderful college.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I chose this school after transferring from another online school for the ease of the schedule. I am a busy mom with a full time job and couldn't spend everyday taking online courses. The curriculum schedule has been very flexible for someone like me

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: They offer many programs; both on and off the campus. I wouldn't say that it's really set apart from other schools; although I do find the academic programs to be easier and less strenuous than other online programs.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: I am an accounting online student so I can't comment on the physical campus resources.

College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Well it has got me where I am, but I am slowly slipping. I am a single mother without a job and I was in a real bad motorcycle accident last year so I am in dire need of assistance my bills are eating me up. I am afraid that I will not be able to continue if I dont get at least one grant or scholarship this year! It is to hard for me to consentraite on school while my 16 year old daughter is needing school clothes and hungry. I have the creditors at my door and yes my school has done all that they can do, but like I said I am in dire need right now my disability is just not enough to buy what I need for school and to buy what my child needs. I don't know what is left to do Ashford has done what they can.

Academic Experience: Well before AU I went to traditional college on campus and the help just wasnt there. At ashford I have the time to take care of my family and go to class. The online college is the only way to go. Ashford is a excellent University, and I am very satisfied.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I chose AU because I have tried traditional colleges and have always had to withdraw because of some family emergency. I Love AU It has been so convient for me. It has made it posible for me to go back to further my education. I am just having problems with my financial needs, with going to college and not working, my financial need is so much greater. I am struggeling and I do not want it to interfer with my school.

5 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Very professional and friendly. They can be very business like but also very straightforward.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: Decent, for the most part the students are friendly and cool to work with.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Overall, it is a good university. I think the instructors and stuff are good at their jobs.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The great thing about attending Ashford Oline is that it does not require me to go to a traditional classroom setting. As long as I have access to the internet, I can do my work anytime. The instructors are availible almost all the time and the feedback is great.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I give it a B+ because there is no campus for me to attend to closer to where I live. Other online universities have campuses throughout FL. As for what I have read about the tools offered to graduates is great. They offer career services that include finding employment, resume building, internships, and ext.

Academic Flexibility: The University has made it very easy to do the work required for every class. As long as you have access to the web you can do your work. The professors make sure to post everything ahead of time to get students what they need as well. Occassionally if you require a special need the etacher will do their best to help.

Online Courses: I was a little skeptical about attending school online and not in a traditional classroom where I have full access to the instructors knowledge. Then I started Ashford's online courses and was amazed at how easy it was to access the instructor when I had a question about the materials or an assignment. Not only are the instructors helpful and knowledgeable in what they are teaching but the administrative staff has helped me in many ways. They have reached out to me several times asking how things are going as well as assisting me when I needed help rearranging a few courses to better fit my needs. I have and will continue to reccomend Ashford to people.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
