Academic Experience: I'm currently working on my MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship and the current classes have been very direct on what is expected of me as an owner/management.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Professors gave great feedback and any assistance they could offer. Wanted each student to success in their class.

Academic Flexibility: My sister already attended Ashford and recommended the college to me. Everything she said about the school has been right on mark.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel that my education is worth what I am paying in tuition. I am very please with the teachers response to my needs and the help they provide. It also works with my fulltime job schedule. I am also a fulltime parent. I have three beautiful kids at home.

Online Courses: I enjoy online courses at Ashford. It gives me the opportunity to complete my course work and be a part of discussions without leaving my house or while I am at work. I work fifty five hours a week so a traditional classroom setting is not feasible for me. I give it an A minus however, because in one course I had severe difficulties communicating with a TA and it affected my grade. If I would have been permitted to speak to him on the phone or in person the issue would have been resolved quickly.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Fast paced, cannot absorb material important in todays changing world. NO COMMENT regarding problems with financial aid. Disability program is fantastic.

Online Courses: I can truly say that Ashford University has taught me how to become a determine person when having to do plenty of work even though it can be tough. I have learned how to multi-task because there is so much school work to do, and have a regular life. The unique features are the school is tremendous, and the staff members know how to listen even though I am possibly a thousand miles away. Ashford University treats you like family. Therefore, this is unique to me. My registration process was easy as one, two, and three. The school explained to me what I should expect, and what I should not expect. I understood what I should do or not do, and I was able to carry the responsibilities through for three years now. The professor and student relationships are wonderful. I have learned a good bit of information from the students, and I have learned from the professor. Peer-to- peer interaction is good because everyone is very respectful to one another, and it is important to treat people the way you would want to be treated.

Campus Resources: The resources are excellent. The library, cafe'.information concerning grades, financial aid, whatever is needed is there.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: There are only 5 weeks per class. The way the assignments are scheduled makes it very easy to take care of home and family as well as school work.

Campus Resources: I haven't had any problems with the computer network. As a matter of fact, it has been very helpful and I' also learning more about online classes through them.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The online resource library is very useful and easy to use.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I am majoring in applied behavioral science. It is very interesting and the course work has surprisingly went right along with it. I have had no unexpected classes or events and my instructors have been great.

5 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I really like Ashford and most of the instructors so far. Even though it's online, I have had one instructor in particular that was very helpful and involved. Ashford is a great opportunity for me to continue my education while still working and tending to my home life and family.

5 College Senior

Career Services: I am not really sure of the post grad service at the school. The quality of the career center gives good information to the students. It shares information that the center has.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: The education I am receiving is great. At first the tuition was a problem but I received a lot of help with this area.

4 College Junior

Career Services: I have never had to use the career center at my school. They are constantly sending out e-mails for seminars and other briefings that can help students find a job or be more competitive in their current field. The information is available for anyone that needs it.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: There are some things that are easy to do with this school, such as registration, and doing classes back to back. However, sometimes getting a student advisor with the correct information is hard.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I am a military history major, and I have had amazing classes and teachers that teach me all new information. I have not come across any useless information or classes. It's also very nice that there are students my age and older, so you're bound to be in a class that has a lot more maturity than some other colleges.

Online Courses: I was excited about the online course opportunity, because at the time I started, I suffered from an anxiety disorder that made sitting in a classroom extremely difficult. I worried that because of that, I would never be able to finish my education. Through my experiences with the online classroom forum, I was able to build up my confidence while also learning self-discipline and structure. The professors I worked with were, for the most part attentive, positive, and prompt with responses, and I have made some great friends through the peer-to-peer interactions on the message boards.

5 College Senior

Student Body: The student body at Ashford is active and positive. They interact with each other often, experience wonderful opportunities together through the school, and seem to make life-long friendships!

3 College Senior

Career Services: Ashford has many great post-graduate program options, and they are constantly working on adding more. I only gave it a B+ because they do not offer a Master's in Social work program, which is what I want to study.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuetion and cost per credit is extremely low for the quality of education Ashford University is providing to the student. Additionally, the financial aid process is easy because if the student has any difficulties during the process the financial aid department or the students personal financial advisor will help guide the student through that process.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The University is extremely flexible with class scheduling as one can talk with an advisor to rearrange the progression of classes to fit the students’ needs and desires. Additionally, it is extremely easy for the student to take a break when it’s needed.

Academic Flexibility: Ashford U On-line allows me to work, take care of my family and get my education. When I was having some problems, they worked with me and got me straightened out and back on the right track. When I started with Ashford I was transferring and they did all of the work in getting me transfered. I made the right decision to come to Ashford and I see the light at the end of the tunnel, graduation January 2014.

Online Courses: I have always been comfortable using the computer so this type of learning is for me. I do not have to worry about rushing to school when I leave work. Everyone that I have dealt with via the phone and on-line has been very helpful and are there if I need to ask questions or need any type of help. The workload is something I can handle as I work full time and have a family to take care of. I did not know how the interaction with fellow students was going to be but have found it to be great. It is nice to know that I have someone that is willing to help at anytime; when I was attending classes at the campus, I found it difficult to get help from fellow students, they were always busy with something else. I am a home body so this type of learning is great for me.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
