Online Courses: I can work on my own time wether it is 2'oclock in the afternoon or 4'oclock in the morning and I can work easily around my children. For me it's challenging but better than a traditional school, mainly because of how much of a visual person I am listening and taking note were just not for me.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Sometimes I feel like it is a little on the expensive side but I am going for my bachelors so I guess it isn't too bad. I also feel like it will be worth it in the long run when I'm working in my profession of choice and making a stable amount of money a year

Academic Flexibility: Ashford University was the best decision for me right now because of their flexibility, i have two kids and a hectic schedule so traditional school was not for me at this point in my life

Academic Experience: The learning environment of the online classrooms exceeded my expectations. I do really regret the shift to online e-books instead of the regular printed textbooks. I understand this is to save money and resources but studying was easier with a hard copy of the text.

Academic Flexibility: Until recently everything about my experience was great. However, I was recently dropped from classes due to a scheduling oversight which caused a delay in my graduation and in my financial aid funding. Otherwise I have been very pleased with my time spent at Ashford.

Online Courses: They have all been easy to access, I'm not a HUGE fan of the Ashford Library, but it's easy enough to follow and use. The math class had a neat program called ALEKS that I really enjoyed.

Academic Experience: So far my courses have been challenging yet manageable. I was especially surprised with my math class, I was quite nervous going into it, but I really enjoyed the experience.

Career Services: I haven't had any communication with the Career Services at Ashford.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Since I am active duty military, my tuition is paid for by the Air Force, and Ashford knew exactly how to handle military payment. They guided me right through it, even when I was stationed in Honduras with limited communications.

Academic Experience: I took a 8 year break from college, I was too young and not ready before. I wish I found Ashford 8 years ago because I think I could have gone far even then.

Academic Experience: I have just started my core courses for my degree program for Complementary and Alternative Health, but to this point I would say that the workload has been acceptable for accelerated courses. If you have any questions or problems you can get into contact with the instructors and they genuinely want to help.
My first year was taking the "liberal arts" courses required for my degree which I liked because I don't have to worry about falling out of the loop with the classes for my major.

Academic Experience: I love going to Ashford because the professors are very concerned for their students academic careers. The classes are taught very well and if you have trouble understanding something, the teacher will respond to you quickly to help.

Academic Experience: I have enjoyed the courses that I have taken at Ashford.edu. The professors are nice and they really explain the course materials (teaching & Learning) very well. It is also very nice to interact with the teacher when needed for questions or help.

Student Body: I am taking online classes as it is better for my work/life schedule. What I have experienced thus far is that the students are varying ages and degree levels but are very nice when "in class". We are all working towards our own degrees, yet are willing to help if someone is having a problem. I have enjoyed my time at Ashford up to this point

Campus Resources: I have not been on this college (Ashford Univ.) campus yet, so I can't say I have seen the auditorium, or gym? However, I saw pictures of the campus and it's very nice and cozy, and it also looks like students that are attending Ashford is very happy and content either on campus or online as I have converse back and forth with students in my online college course at Ashford and they all sounds very happy overall with everything.

Campus Resources: Ashford University has been overall satisfying as I see it, from office staff, campus student advisors, financial aide advisors, class instructors and fellow classmates has all been very supportive, respectful, and helpful. I don't think I'll be transferring to any schools real soon, I love here at Ashford. My graduation estimated date is: June 25, 2015. This is my very first college school I'm attending now, taking online college courses and have good grades Major-GPA:3.7/Cumulative Undergraduate grade is; 2.96. So, it shows I'm doing really well!

Academic Flexibility: Two times I have been able to take a break for two very different reasons. There was a point where it seemed that suddenly everyone was passing away around me; three relatives and two friends all within the same month. They allowed me to take some personal time to deal with the emotions that were going on during this time. Another time, I was moving and they allowed me the time off to finalize the move and enjoy a small vacation before returning to school. Returning was very smooth. They allowed me to pick right up where I left off without any hassle.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
