Tuition & Financial Aid: Even if I have to pay out-of-pocket, it will be worth the money. I know my education will make a difference in my life, as well as my son's.

Tuition & Financial Aid: Every penny I spend is worth every minute in class. The FA office makes it painless applying, also they make sure you understand your finances and your budgets.

Academic Experience: As a returning to school student, the experience at Ashford University has been extremely rewarding. The encouragement, attitude, and assistance received from every department is consistent and appreciated. The enrollment counselor who shared the Public Administration degree details with me took me off the edge and placed me in the class. He helped me outline my time based on where I was in life and helped me incorporate school into my new lifestyle. Currently a housewife, it was a rescue from the doldrums I was experiencing and putting life into my vision.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I got more than enough financial aid to cover my tuition and expenses. The staff in the financial aid department has been incredibly helpful. I know the education I am getting is well worth the expense!

Student Body: It's hard to say really because I am enrolled in their online college, but from my experience there seems to be people from ALL walks of life enrolled at Ashford University. Most are non-traditional students looking to further their education.

Career Services: I haven't graduated yet so I really can't comment on this one.

Online Courses: My sister was attending school online a few years ago and I couldn't imagine how she was doing it. I had heard that the workload was so heavy from people. I can truly say now that I have been attending college online for the past couple of years, I love it. I can't see myself sitting in a classroom anymore. I love the convinence of attending from home. No extra money for gas and making arrangements for the kids to go to an actual campus. Everything works well online. My advisors are fantastic and keep in touch regularly , my instructors give timely feedback and my classmates interact well in each classroom. I wouldn't change a thing.

Student Body: I have had a good experience since attending Ashford University. I feel that the classes are diverse and include a lot of working parents that have a multitude of family and work obligations and trying to attend school as well. I have become friends with several classmates and often have some of these classmates in upcoming classes which makes it a very comfortable environment for the discussion threads. We all want to better ourselves so that we can do for our families and contribute to the needs in our society.

Campus Resources: From what I hear the resources are very good at Ashford but like I said, I really can't comment of this subject except of what I have heard.

Career Services: Can't really give a review about Career Services because I have not reached that part in my enrollment.

Academic Experience: Have never had a problem getting any of my classes that I needed for my major. My academic experience is mostly online but it has all been a positive one. My complaint that I do have about Ashford is that the staff never seems to have the answers to important questions like Financial Aid.

Academic Experience: Everyone has been so helpful with everything. My admissions representative gave me all the information and paper work I needed to enroll. She was very nice and still calls to check to see if everything is okay and if I have any questions about school. The lady in financial aid was very informative. And my instructor is very helpful and communicates well to me.

Online Courses: I just started school. I'm still getting used to my online courses and navigating around the website. It is much easier than I thought and my instructor is very helpful. I can always ask her any question and she responds very quickly. I make sure I ready all material assigned and participate in every assignment.

Academic Experience: I love everything about my online learning experience for my school. There is even forms for you to fill out if you feel like you have been unfairly graded or treated in a class. There are all sorts of webinars and other job resources. I believe I made the right choice in online learning schools.

Campus Resources: I am an online learner at Ashford and there is nothing that I do not have access to as a student of the school. There are times when the classes are down for fixing bugs, but that is to be expected and it normally does not affect classes at all. All of my books are online and I love the online Ashford Library and Writing Centers.

Academic Experience: Everything is as expected it was going to be. I also love the fact that I get to double major with a specialization and obtain triple minors all online! The teachers are great, the administrators are wonderful, the financial aide staff is so helpful and the admissions counselors are wonderful.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
