Tuition & Financial Aid: Staff at Ashford are very helpful with their helping a student apply for financial aid. It is not that Ashford is higher with their tuition for the online schooling, but that all of the schools are. It is a balance of a person's goals and if they can afford the loans while doing so.

Academic Experience: I love love love my school. Ashford is the best.

My husband has earn a degree at ashford and now he is working on his Masters.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: Online clases have been helpful and I love all my courses.

Campus Resources: I cannot rate or review because I attend online not on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The classes have been very good, it does feel like all I do is read and think I would enjoy actual conversations with people especially since they want us at Ashford to get into so many debates. Depending on the class, the workload may be a lot or a little. I am not familiar with many of the other programs for most of them only are for people who go to the actual campus.

Student Body: I cannot rate and review the student body at Ashford because I am online and not on the campus.

Campus Resources: The library resource is great online however I cannot speak on the resources on campus because my classes are online.

College Sophomore

Student Body: I don't know anything about the student body at Ashford.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: It feels as thought I am home schooling my self in college. And where this is kind of a good thing since it gives me the opportunity to focus on parts where I don't understand, it would be helpful to be able to interact with other students to get more perspectives and have that human contact.

Online Courses: This has been a learning experience for me. I am two classes from graduating and it is was ruff. But I am glad that I took the chance to complete my degree online.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I am learning things most definitely, but I don't feel as though the teacher is informing me I am doing it correct or not. We do a lot of writing and I don't always get good feedback, they simply tell me to look it up, which I get, we must be able to find the answers, but it would be helpful to let me know what was wrong so I know what to look up in the first place. I do my class work whenever I want so the flexibility is excellent.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I can not even begin to describe my feeling of college. It is a very rewarding experience, one in which I will never forget.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: For the most part , the teachers have been very engaging, and I really do appreciate them working with me as I look to improve myself as a person and as a honor student.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: They have really challenged me as a student and a person.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: They really get you involved and noticed into the community. It really makes me want to be a better person.

Campus Resources: Reliable is the best word to describe the computer network at my school. Rarely is there an issue, but students are made aware ahead of time when there will be interuptions in service so we are able to prepare. In the beginning of the semester all students were informed where to report network problems, and given a toll free number to access 24-hour technical support.

Ashford's on campus labs provide efficient accommodation to students who may not have access to a computer network otherwise. This option is free of charge, and hours of operation are flexible. This availability lessens the need for a personal computer or printer, though it is still widely desirable to have one's own. I am very satisfied with the predictability of my college's computer network on campus, and online.

Academic Experience: Professors are okay, however only available if you contact them. It's sometimes hard to get appropriate feedback from the teachers. Curriculum is decent, sometimes you find a book which doesn't make much sense or is more confusing than helpful. I had adviser problems in the beginning of my experience with this school and ended up having to pay a lot of money out of pocket which I shouldn't have had to pay. There are really no special study options other then the library offering databases.

2 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: It has been okay. Some teachers have given me a hard time or have been extremely easy. It's either you get a good or hard teacher and struggle through the class trying to keep up or you get a terrible teacher, and usually get an A or have a hard time getting responses or detailed discussion responses.

5 College Sophomore

Student Body: I am taking online classes so I am unable to have face-to-face interaction with the other students but I have learned about people through introductions and discussions. There are people in my class from all over the country and world. There are many cultures and backgrounds my peers have come from.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: So far, so good. I started a little less than a year ago and as of right now, I have not taken any classes that have to do with my major but I have seen my future classes and they seem to me like they will be great for my future career.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The flexibility with this school and my course work is great, it fits into my busy life. I did have one instructor who downgraded me because I turned my work in the day it was due and he wanted it sooner than then. The bottom line is, I am online because I have a busy life. For the most part, the flexibility is outstanding.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: Online courses have never been more enjoyable for the reason that I am in control of how quickly I decide to get the work done and the amount of time given for the work material is ample amounts. I have no distractions from other students in the environment and it also allows to view others perspective when dealing with political and social issues.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: My major is one that I have been in the process of achieving in the last year and it is going great. All the classes are manageable and access to information and text are easy to get a hold of.I am an online student so sometimes the slow internet connection is a real bummer.

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: You can log in any time you like and there are three days out of the week that you are required to turn in assignments or discussion posts. You have the ability to manage your schedule which allows for more work to be done.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The best part about the online class community is that I can continue my education while watching my daughter at home. Convenience and accessibility to the classes and materials offered through Constellation, the experience is that much more pleasurable.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
