Academic Experience: They all respond quick and keep trying till I get the help I needed.

Academic Experience: I'm really enjoying the different aspects of my program, I have learned a lot in just three classes so far. The workload is a little crazy, but that's only because I have been in and out of the hospital a lot and not feeling well and that makes school work hard to do. The Master's program does have a lot of papers though (hard to type for me, I have muscle dystrophy hands tight and bend different).

Facilities: I'm doing this degree online so I don't know nothing about on the campus but the online college is very easy to navigate and get the help and information needed.

Student Body: I have noticed that sometimes many students only half way do their work. However in reguards to that, I do have to say that the diversity is amazing. There are people from everywhere and from every origin possible within the classroom. Everyone of course has their own oppinion about things however I have never encounted anyone that has been completely rude because of someone's diversity.

Overall Experience: I love Ashford. It is unique in many ways. The five week classes with one class at a time allows for me not to have to only spend my life doing homework. This allows me time for my family and work. The advisors are always willing to help with any questions that you may have which makes the whole process easier. I would am choosing this school for my entire college career.

Academic Experience: I love the major I am a part of. Currently I am getting my Early Childhood Education. The workload is not bad and is typically manageable. The curriculum generally always related to teaching and will have real world application.

Academic Experience: There are plenty of topics to choose from when deciding what you want to get your degree in and you even have the option of getting your Master's online which is very important to me. I also appritiate the fact that Ashford is partnershiped with other programs because I work for Head Start so I am able to get a special grant because they are partnered. There are opportunities to get tutors if they are needed and there are places to turn in your work to double check it to make sure that you have written and cited it correctly which is very helpful.

Career Services: There are plenty of opportunities for help once you have graduated. You can talk to your advisor to get information on where to go on the website to find out this information.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I really believe that I am getting my moneys worth going to college at Ashford. I have always had a good experience with the financial office and if help is ever needed for there is always someone through the financial aid office available to help. It is easy to get ahold of them and they are very friendly. They are knowledgeable in what is happening and are willing to help.

Facilities: My school is unique because it allows great opportunity for students to achieve their goal no matter their situation. There are plenty of ways for student in the online programs to communicate even outside the classroom. There is a social forum along with their facebook page. The academic programs are really related to what you have in mind to go into for your field of study and help to achieve your goals. There are many opportunities for students at this school. You always have a chance of joining webinars to increase your knowledge and there are always extra websites, scholarship chances, and extra education chances provided to you.

Online Courses: I believe that online classes are the best. I think that it is great that I am able to work on my own schedule of getting my homework done because that allows me to have a job and an outside life with my family. The workload is usually pretty good. There have been time that it has been overwhelming but for the most part it is easy to handle. Registering for school is simple because there is an advisor that is willing to help you with every step of the way. Even though you do not see your professor or your classmates you still have a good relationship with them and it is easy to communicate with them.

Academic Flexibility: I have had the best experience in school. I have only had an issue with one class and after that issue was expressed to advisors in the college it was taken care of. The curriculum is always on topic, it is always applicable to what we are learning, and it is beneficial to what we are doing for our career. If we ever have a problem we are always able to talk to our instructor and work out something to help us.

Campus Resources: I take online classes so I do not have anything to do with the campus.

Campus Resources: I take online classes and we very rearly ever have issues with our online classroom. If there is trouble then it is generally fixed right away.

Overall Experience: I like that when attending online I can do one class at a time, which goes for 5 weeks. That way I can put all my focus into that class and get the best grade that I can.

3 College Freshman

Facilities: The academic program is great. I attend online and have the ability to email my peers and my instructors.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Attending school completely online, I get to choose when I attend. As long as I have my assignments in on time, then all is good.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
