Tuition & Financial Aid: The scholarship system here is the best! Your grades actually matter. Having a GPA of 3.2 or higher will get you scholarships for tuition and a GPA 3.5 or higher will get you full tuition. There are also scholarships here for room and board!

Online Courses: I live on campus and take campus courses so I don`t know about the online classes.

Academic Flexibility: My teachers are easy to talk to during office hours and they don`t begrudge me the time and effort needed to get me the extra help I need. Talking to the professor when I`m concerned about my grades actually helps and they help me find ways that suite my strengths when it comes to studying.

Student Body: Everybody here is really polite. At my old school no one ever held doors open or that kind of thing but here I always here have a good day, please and thank you, and excuse me. It creates a good working environment and makes me think that the other students are all really nice.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think the classes are priced too high. Especially when you are using your own network and paying for your own books. You are paying for the class. Nothing else.

Overall Experience: I would have compared prices to other schools before I made my decision and possibly a school in my state.

Campus Resources: I have only experienced using the online library. Sometimes the topic that I am looking for does not come up in a search. I have to look for an article close to what I am looking for.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
