Overall Experience: Ashford does not help you with understanding the collage experience, we had discussed the cost of going there, but after they raised the tuition every year after, this created a extra bill they do not tell you about until you have attended more than nine months of classes, they sent me 1600.00 dollars which gives you the idea there is plenty of money, but the truth is by the time you get 96 credits, you owe them 4,000.00 more than the agreed amount from the start, FASA only gives about 54,000.00 for your education on a bachelors degree, although I have all the credits I need, I need two Associates degrees to finish the 120 credits, because they will not let me continue classes because I owe them money, I will not be able to finish my education unless I get a grant that I can apply to the amount I owe, also there was never any grants that had Ashford as a qualifying University, before you enter any educational programs make sure you know everything about the loans.

Campus Resources: The computer networks at Ashford are amazing, high speed, quality and dependable. Sites are never down and information is quick. Of course i need a personal computer and printer, i like dependence and stability. I can honestly say i chose the perfect college for me, I spent a very long searching for a college to fit all my personal and professional needs. Ashford University is the right college for me!

5 College Student

Online Courses: I love it, i am able to do the work i need on my own time. As opposed to sitting and listening to an instructor for hours on end. I am able to work, take care of my children and accomplish my life long dream of higher education. My peers are the best, we all seem to have a lot in common. They aren't all 18 year old freshman. Together my peers and I are mostly working adults trying to better our lives.

5 College Sophomore

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
