Campus Resources: Online Learning – My school does have a traditional campus, but for those of us who are balancing full-time jobs, school, and family, Ashford's online distance learning program is incredible. It gives those students who might not otherwise have a chance to complete their degree an opportunity to fulfill their goals. I feel very lucky to have found this school.

Student Body: Students Come in All Sizes – My virtual campus has a diverse mixture of students that range from military, high school graduates, single parents, new mothers, etc. But what I find special about Ashford is the fact that everyone is welcome from far and near it is an intergraded school with more than a course content by a family environment.

Campus Resources: Online Campus – The operation system and online acceptability has been consistent and properly maintained with only minor and rare issues.

Online Courses: Learning Without Walls – One specific characteristic about human behavior is our ability to be free thinkers and pursue our dreams without walls. Ashford University has given me an opportunity to achieve a higher level of education while allowing me to structure how I share my thoughts on class content, give and receive feedback, and grow a deeper commitment of personal success.

Campus Resources: I find quite convenient to have Ashford's online library & writing center at my disposal 24hrs daily. This is helpful for research, writing and formatting my classwork.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I am more than pleased with the information and the help provided by my financial aid advisor & Admissions counselor at Ashford. The tuition is more than fair. The financial aid process was done with ease and both my Financial aid advisor & admissions counselor were with me through the entire process. All Of my paper work was in, in more than enough time for me to start class. I was more than prepared to start college & well informed before I chose Ashford.

Academic Experience: Bachelors and Masters Degree Programs – Ashford has a variety of Bachelor Degree and Master Degree programs available on campus and online. The student support staff is awesome!! They provide extensive guidance and are consistantly supportive in every aspect of my college experience.

Campus Resources: Ashford University's online learning environment is very user friendly. The support and encouragement I have received from my instructors and counselors has been top notch. The cirriculum is knowledge based and informative. I am extremely content that Ashford University is my school of choice.

Overall Experience: Not what its all choked up to be. The university is boring, nothing to do, and it feels like a high school. The food here is awful and they try to feed us uncooked food which is bad.

The only plus is that professors are great and understanding, its just not what is able to keep me here. I am transferring after this year.

The only reason this school gets good reviews because its the online students. They dont get to live on campus and be victimized to this school. Online stuff is stationed in California, not Clinton Iowa....

Overall Experience: The classes are informative and relevant. The instructors are helpful and knowledgeable. I am very happy at Ashford and would recommend the school to another person. I actually plan on going to graduate school and will most likely attend Ashford.

Academic Experience: Health Care Major – The instructors are fair and very understanding. the curriculum is easy to follow. Because I am taking online courses I assumed the curriculum would be difficult to follow but it is not. The instructos give you enough time to do all work needed.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition in inexpensive and quite affordable. It is definately worth the education. The financial Aid process was quick and easy. My advisor was very helpful and did most of the work for me.

Career Services: Excellent Post-Grad Services – Ashford University provides career services, such as Job Search and Resume Builder. Additionally, they have alumni links through the popular social medias such as Facebook, LinkedIn, etc., that provide students the ability to interact with alumni of the University.

5 College Freshman

Online Courses: Peer-To-Peer Interaction – Not only does Ashford University include in their online courses the ability to discuss and respond to relevant course assignments, it provides an online "Cafe" where students can get together online to discuss their day-to-day lives and get to know each other as people.

Student Body: The typical student in my school is a middle-aged person from all over the U.S. who has been in the workforce for many years. Like myself, they find themselves in the "black-hole" of job opportunities. Either they lack the accreditation, although they have the expertise, to get their foot in the door or they are considered "over-qualified". It is comforting to know that I am not the only person with this same dilemna.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Classes Are Fine – flexibility is pretty fine. only required to attend one day a week. dqs on thursday and assignment on monday. I hate the quizzes however

2 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Credit Transfer Odd – all my credits transferred but not properly. My math classes were put in as electives so I am having to do those over again and then they had to redo my financial aid which didn't help at all and still didnt cover the costs of books

1 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Counselors Suck – I have told them several times I do not get good phone service so do not call my phone, email is the only way to contact me and EVERY time I get a phone call from them. they dont listen and then get snotty when I tell them my phone does not work.

Overall Experience: I love this school, if the customer service was a bit better due to my specific situation, I would have graded this school an A+. I like the curriculum, the materials are by no means a piece of cake so I still get a challenge. I enjoy the communication with the Instructors, they are very good at response times.

Academic Flexibility: Instructor Contact – I think it would benefit the students if there was a visual aid that would hook the student up to the instructor for face to face conversations.

Overall Experience: Being able to attend college and work has been amazing. I am getting the best of both worlds and Ashford University is a big part of it.

Overall Experience: I don't start my online classes until March 27, but so far the experience has been great.Everyone i have talked to with the university have been really helpful and understandin of my needs!!

1 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Nothing Major – its nothing out of the ordinary. we really dont do much

1 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Not Fun at All – i dont like the school.its boring and feels like an high school. there not anything to for fun and i feel like im not getting the full college experience. im transferring next fall.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Online courses ae very different. In the classroom the students know exactly who they are talking to and sometimes the personality of the other students online you don't know. The workload is sometimes easy but as in the regular classroom the essays can be a little tough.

Ashford University provides a great learning experience in a very unique environment. If you ask online Ashford students if they're happy with their choice to attend school there, most would probably say that they would do it all over again if they could, mainly because of its flexibility and convenience with schedules. The instructors are helpful and respond to questions in a timely manner, usually within one to two days. The instructors are helpful and encourage students to constantly look for better answers. Online classes are very convenient to students with complicated schedules; students can complete assignments at their own leisure, yet within the time constraints of deadlines. Most students find no problem completing their assignments.

A drawback of being an online student is that you don't have the opportunity to really check out the organizations or physical resources Ashford offers. However, the University does have an online library that students can go into from the Student Portal. The library is easy to use, and students can usually find most of the sources they need when writing a research paper. Even though it isn't your typical college interaction, the instructors and classmates are friendly and very helpful when you have questions. Students are able to help each other in unique ways. In one case, a student didn't have her book for class yet, and another student was able to scan a copy of the assignment and e-mail an attachment to her. Classmates are also helpful in post discussions and give each other timely advice and wisdom.
