Academics: There's a group of us that all come in at the same term, and we all see each other a lot due to us having to take a lot of the same classes. The teachers are pretty tough (find an upper termer and talk about which is more suited to your pace). A lot of the teachers are currently working in the industry so they give great insights. Workload is heavy most of the time but it's worth it. And as for internships, there are internship fairs (really helpful), but it's really up to you—you need to prep your portfolio and do research.

Academics: I wish there were a greater variety, there's not much that I really, really want to take. But the ones I have taken were great. It's slightly easier and more relaxed than the art classes, and the teachers will understand if you have problems and will talk with you about it. Many of them are in some ways related to the art field so they understand. Most of the time it's tough getting the popular classes, but even the other ones have wait lists. If you get a good registration date, lucky you, if not, hope that some drops during the waiting period.

Health & Safety: Since the campus is small and mostly indoors, it's quite safe. I've only heard stories of this someone getting robbed once, but you do have to be careful of your laptops, etc. Security is always around, especially in the parking lots.

Guys & Girls: Oddly enough, I feel like certain majors dress a different way. But it's all a nice mix of everything and it's great. Some people prefer the comfort of sweats and other prefer heels. We're all quite friendly with each other, there are some dating each other but many of the students have significant others from outside of school too. Social life at school is below what I would prefer, but hey, it's not a big deal.

Local Atmosphere: School is nice, scenic and quiet for working. Then you can drive down the hill and shop, eat, and do whatever in Old Town. There are events nearby (just search for them online), a museum right by the freeway, a park near the other campus, and it's quite a safe environment (there's no crazy things happening here or there).

Greek Life: Art Center has no Greek life, however, we have lots of clubs. If there aren't any to your preferences, you can start one up.
