3 College Freshman

Scholarships: As an international student there are not many options, even though most of my friends have received financial aid

2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I avoid dealing with the financial aid office as much as possible. They will answer your questions if you show up in person but you can't expect to reach them ever over the phone (maybe 1 out of 5 tries). The school did not receive my FAFSA due to an error yet did not let me know until I was denied getting HOPE scholarship because of it. It took around 3 months to process the error and receive the scholarship. In the meantime I paid out of pocket.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: The biggest problem is getting a chance to answer everyone's question, and some people might have the same question. Calling seems to be the way that most people choose to get their questions answered, even though the waiting times to speak to someone are ridiculous. My advise to someone would be to never call in the in the last month leading into the new academic school year (June- early August) it is an extreme hassle. Call in late spring, early summer that way they will be open to answer any questions when needed.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: It was a hassle but I got it done.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: The only people who get scholarships are the ones who rub elbow with the financial aid head. People who actually have need (like myself) are ignored.
