Off-Campus Housing: Apartments Are Very Dingy – The apartments around Armstrong are very very unsafe or in bad neighborhoods if you stay in Savannah. About four miles from the school is Georgetown where apartments are a lot nicer and depending on the area tend to be safer. They are usually pricey, so I would recommend getting two other roommates and sharing a three bedroom. Do not stay in the middle of Savannah, the convenience isn't worth the price and quality.

Campus Strictness: AASU Leniency – Armstrong is pretty laid back when it comes to most errors, but anything with a parking violation is not permitted. They will boot your car if you continue not to pay the tickets. Also the security is pretty nice!

3 College Senior

Parking: The campus has two large parking areas, and a quarter mile stretch of parking available though it is insufficient to meet all student needs.

4 College Senior

Campus Dining: Adequate, Acceptable, Astounding – AASU's dining services are amiable with all. Aside from what is offered on the menu many of the staff are willing and capable to prepare items off of the menu.

2 College Senior

Campus Strictness: Small and Severe – Armstrong's campus is small so the police force has very little area to cover thus the students are more likely to be caught doing something forbidden.

3 College Senior

Academics: Room to Develop – Armstrong is an exemplary university though, possibly as with any educational institution, there is room to grow. Although tuition is relatively cheap there is minute use of student facilities. The reallocation of funding, and scholarly priorities would be beneficial.

4 College Senior

Academics: Seek and You Shall Find – All the programs are excellent. You always hear good things about them. They present a challenge. There's some type of FREE help for every subject on campus. Also, majority of the teachers are helpful.

Health & Safety: Needs Improvement – It's easy to feel safe because the campus is so small and majority of the people are so friendly. We do have several car break-ins. The campus police act as if they are aggravated when residents/students ask for escorts. The campus is open so ANYONE can come on campus at anytime, but campus police are normally good at booting cars without parking decals/passes. However, this doesn't prevent those on foot, bike, and moped (etc.).

Greek Life: Just Another Person – Greek life barely exists. There's only 3 of the "Divine Nine" on campus. Only some arrogant Greeks act as if they're above others, and only some "wanna be's" treat them as if they are. The International Culture experience is the best.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Academic Strictness – The campus strictness is pretty nuch average, however, when it comes to academics, they are extremely harsh. The thing to do is make sure you study and arrive to class on time.

Computers: The computers at my school are very nice. The computer labs and library have recently new computers that are in excellent condition. The printers, however, is a different story. There are two printers in each computer lab and there are only two in the library. The network has its problems very rarely which makes it easier to work in a reliable place without having a slow system or constant connectivity problems. The wireless access is all campus. The need for a personal computer or printer depends on the circumstances. The library is always full with people on computers, so if you want a computer you have to get there either early or while everyone else is in class. The printers are pretty good, however, it would be useful to have one of your own if you need to print out your paper for a class in the morning when you finished your paper late or something like that. However, I believe everything is circumstancial so the best thing is to be prepared at all times and you will never have a problem.

Greek Life: Only Two Main Sororities and Fraternities – Pi kappa alpha and kappa sigma are the two main fraternities and sigma sigma sigma and alpha sigma tau are the two sororities. This means there isn't much of a choice if you're planning to go greek but pi kappa alpha and alpha sigma tau are definitely on top.

Guys & Girls: 70% Female – For a guy, this means your chances are excellent. 70% are female, another portion is gay males, this means there are approx. 20% guys and a lot to choose from.

5 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: Armstrong has the best community. There is historic river street/downtown and only 30 minutes away from the beach at Tybee Island, where The Last Song was filmed starring Miley Cyrus.

3 College Senior

Athletics: National Champions – Tennis has Recieved 2 national championships in the past two years. Soccer, baseball, and softball are also very good at Armstrong

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: Can Be Difficult – It is definitely cheaper to live off campus, but it can be hard to find roommates. I love living off campus and it only taking me 5 minutes to get to school.

3 College Junior

Facilities: Small Classrooms – Armstrong's small classroom size is great because the professor's have a great opportunity to interact with each of the students and help them whenever possible.

4 College Junior

Academics: English Communications – I can't say much because I have recently changed to this major, but be prepared for a decent amount of homework. There will be plenty of reading, writing, and analyzing to do.

Computers: I Like – i like i like like i like i like like i like i like like i like i like like

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: AASU Experience – The school is wonderful & so are the proffessors.

2 College Sophomore

Parking: There is no parking on campus, only around campus. Overnight visitors are ticketed as bad as regular students. The fines are ridiculous.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: I'm Undecided – I don't have a major at the time . There are lot of majors at AASU ,but I don't know who is in my major ,yet. My main concern is not finding out the right major for me and not havong a job after graduation.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: Usually Full – I personally don't like using the school computers ,but when necessary I do ,but usually they are full so I just use my laptop. The wifi is sucky because it fails a lot ,so I use a router to speed up the process which helps out a lot.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Historical Site – Savannah is very historic and is filled with a lot of things to do . It's a tourist town so it's fun meeting new people and making lots of friends. The school itself is not that attractive and there is not much to do,but as a whole the experience is average.

3 College Senior

Transportation: Its relatively new, but there isnow a bus system that goes to campus from all over Savannah. Just in case you dont want a car and dont want to live on campus.
