Facilities: Not Much to Do – There is a recreation center and a library, yes, but not a bunch of activities, unless you're in a club. Most students are there to learn and not to play, so it's more of a serious campus, but they do fun things at times.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: Theatre Program – It is quite easy to get into the program, but you have to audition for a part. You cannot just waltz in and expect a part. You have to work for it, and even then, the director might not like the way to show the character you are portraying.

College Sophomore

Majors: No Internship Plan – As a Theatre Major, I don't plan on having to become an intern. Experience and opportunity are what I'm striving for.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: Diversity and School Spirit – At Armstrong the facilities are very well kept and there is always renovations going on. As far as traditions, there aren't many since our school doesn't have a football team, so the school spirit isn't as deep as most would like it to be. Our athletes are very talented and we are well known for the sports we do compete in. For the most part it is a well rounded and diverse school.

College Junior

Scholarships: I Wouldn't Know – I have yet to receive any scholarships period from anything but Armstrong has a few to offer those who need them.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Armstrong Is Great – AASU has plenty for any student to do. If need be you can go to the academic labs to receive help on anything that you may not understand or have a problem with.

4 College Junior

Greek Life: Armstrong Atlantic State University the Greek Life is not very big. There are students who do pledge, but it is not sometimes the whole campus is involved in.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: Drug Free – At Armstrong Atlantic State University, this is not a drug problem at all. The students who attend this university are more concerned about classes then drugs. There are people that smoke cigarettes, but as far as drugs there is none on this campus.

2 College Senior

Parking: The parking is terrible. You have to get a 50 dollar permit and if not they will boot your car. There are not that many parking spots in relevance to the population of the school and if you dont arrive early you will never find a space. There is no specific parking except for staff and faculty but you can park there after 5 in the evening, so if you have late classes best places to park!

2 College Senior

Athletics: Sports Are Not Really Looked at – The sports at Armstrong are not really that great. The tennis team is supposed to be really good, but the facilities are not too nice, the fan support is a minimum, not a lot of students go unless they know the players and not a lot of citizens of Savannah come to watch the games. There is no football which may be the reason why there are not as many people. School spirit is very little also unless you're in a sorority or fraternity (there are only one of each).

2 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: Apartments Are Very Dingy – The apartments around Armstrong are very very unsafe or in bad neighborhoods if you stay in Savannah. About four miles from the school is Georgetown where apartments are a lot nicer and depending on the area tend to be safer. They are usually pricey, so I would recommend getting two other roommates and sharing a three bedroom. Do not stay in the middle of Savannah, the convenience isn't worth the price and quality.

3 College Senior

Campus Strictness: AASU Leniency – Armstrong is pretty laid back when it comes to most errors, but anything with a parking violation is not permitted. They will boot your car if you continue not to pay the tickets. Also the security is pretty nice!

3 College Senior

Parking: The campus has two large parking areas, and a quarter mile stretch of parking available though it is insufficient to meet all student needs.

4 College Senior

Campus Dining: Adequate, Acceptable, Astounding – AASU's dining services are amiable with all. Aside from what is offered on the menu many of the staff are willing and capable to prepare items off of the menu.

2 College Senior

Campus Strictness: Small and Severe – Armstrong's campus is small so the police force has very little area to cover thus the students are more likely to be caught doing something forbidden.

3 College Senior

Academics: Room to Develop – Armstrong is an exemplary university though, possibly as with any educational institution, there is room to grow. Although tuition is relatively cheap there is minute use of student facilities. The reallocation of funding, and scholarly priorities would be beneficial.

4 College Senior

Academics: Seek and You Shall Find – All the programs are excellent. You always hear good things about them. They present a challenge. There's some type of FREE help for every subject on campus. Also, majority of the teachers are helpful.

3 College Senior

Health & Safety: Needs Improvement – It's easy to feel safe because the campus is so small and majority of the people are so friendly. We do have several car break-ins. The campus police act as if they are aggravated when residents/students ask for escorts. The campus is open so ANYONE can come on campus at anytime, but campus police are normally good at booting cars without parking decals/passes. However, this doesn't prevent those on foot, bike, and moped (etc.).

2 College Senior

Greek Life: Just Another Person – Greek life barely exists. There's only 3 of the "Divine Nine" on campus. Only some arrogant Greeks act as if they're above others, and only some "wanna be's" treat them as if they are. The International Culture experience is the best.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Academic Strictness – The campus strictness is pretty nuch average, however, when it comes to academics, they are extremely harsh. The thing to do is make sure you study and arrive to class on time.

3 College Freshman

Computers: The computers at my school are very nice. The computer labs and library have recently new computers that are in excellent condition. The printers, however, is a different story. There are two printers in each computer lab and there are only two in the library. The network has its problems very rarely which makes it easier to work in a reliable place without having a slow system or constant connectivity problems. The wireless access is all campus. The need for a personal computer or printer depends on the circumstances. The library is always full with people on computers, so if you want a computer you have to get there either early or while everyone else is in class. The printers are pretty good, however, it would be useful to have one of your own if you need to print out your paper for a class in the morning when you finished your paper late or something like that. However, I believe everything is circumstancial so the best thing is to be prepared at all times and you will never have a problem.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: Only Two Main Sororities and Fraternities – Pi kappa alpha and kappa sigma are the two main fraternities and sigma sigma sigma and alpha sigma tau are the two sororities. This means there isn't much of a choice if you're planning to go greek but pi kappa alpha and alpha sigma tau are definitely on top.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: 70% Female – For a guy, this means your chances are excellent. 70% are female, another portion is gay males, this means there are approx. 20% guys and a lot to choose from.

5 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: Armstrong has the best community. There is historic river street/downtown and only 30 minutes away from the beach at Tybee Island, where The Last Song was filmed starring Miley Cyrus.

3 College Senior

Athletics: National Champions – Tennis has Recieved 2 national championships in the past two years. Soccer, baseball, and softball are also very good at Armstrong
