Drug Safety: I didn't see any people actually partake in drugs when I attended. However, I did have an issue with an old roommate that would smoke a lot. I am not sure if it was cigarettes or marijuana, but I let the head of housing know. AND THEY DID NOTHING. I complained several times, and they didn't seem to care.

Alcohol is not that big of a deal on campus in the sense of resident assistants do not find it that often in the dorms. The campus is supposed to be a dry campus, but some students bring alcohol on campus despite the matter.

Greek Life: There were many sorority and fraternities in which one could be involved or joined. The students there could try to join if they wanted; one of my friends tried for one of the sororities, but did not make it. Many of the Greek groups did volunteer work around Savannah.

Academics: you have to be really focused and so far its taxing on the brain but it will all be worth it once i get my bachelors in biology

Campus Dining: I use on my flex dollars on junk and hot wings in the student center. Its delicious

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Overall the school is a good school. Its very tough but fair. The only thing i would change is to have a smaller class size and longer class time.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: The financial aid counselors are helpful, but the financial aid I recieve is not nearly enough to help me the way I need it.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: My main problem is that it's a dry campus, and they are really strict about that.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek life at Armstrong is almost nonexistent. The Greek community is not very active around campus, I barely see them doing anything. We have Greek night once a term, but that's it.

Majors: The Pre-Engineering program here at AASU is fantastic. It really helps you stay on track, and keep your classes more in line than just a typical college "pick and choose" program. If that makes any sense. The classes are, of course, challenging, but what's worth the time if I don't work for my rewards? In this case, that reward being knowledge. The professors here are amazing, and manage to baffle me with intellect and wit that I haven't seen in any of the other 12 years of my schooling. If I had to start over and choose which college I would like to start off with, Armstrong would be my first pick.

Guys & Girls: Everyone, both boys and girls here at Armstrong are cooperative and assiduous. The accents is always the same, southern country. But Armstrong is also has a different diversity. It has islanders, northern accents, and just a melting pot of gold.

Health & Safety: I have never felt unsafe on Armstrong Atlantic State University's campus. It is a small, beautiful, safe place to be. Keep your doors locked to avoid petty theft or late-night pranks. And be warned that Campus Security isn't too happy `bout drinking games, so keep your Beirut games under control please.

Academics: I am a chemistry major. My professors are outstanding, always there to help, very knowledgeable in their areas, and consistent in their grading. The availability of the upper level classes is rough since most of them are only offered once a year, but it works because we don't have a huge demand for our classes. The internships and job opportunities through our department are phenomenal. I have worked in research for my entire four years here!

4 College Senior

Academics: Overall Armstrong is excellent because the professors are very helpful and the class sizes are small. The curriculum is tough and you have to work for your grades, but you learn the material when it's all over. The registration and financial and bursar's office are always a pain but no school is perfect. Our school offers free tutors and free study rooms in the library.

Drug Safety: This is a dry campus and even a smoke free campus now so It is definitely not allowed on campus but some students do bring it on campus. We don't have a large amount of police officers so they can't catch everything. Drinking is more of the issue on campus than "hard" drugs.

2 College Sophomore

Diversity: There is an average amount of diversity here at Armstrong

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The city of Savannah is very historic which brings personality to the city

3 College Junior

Computers: I have no trouble with the computer labs, but highly recomend a laptop

4 College Junior

Academics: The professors there are great. They take time to explain things and are very professional

4 College Junior

Parking: I have no trouble finding a parking spot. I get to class on time

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There is alot to choose from. I save money and shop at Publix. ONE-STOP-SHOP

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: There have been a few drug busts at school, but the school police are doing a good job of cracking down on drug use.

Facilities: The result of my enrollment in a learning community. It was designed for honors students and involved two classes. The actual assignments were few, but it does not mean that it was not a lot of work. It was pretty much hit or miss with whether the professors' styles of teaching fit what worked well with the students, but overall, the small class size allowed for a much closer and 'friendly' environment, and questions could be answered without taking up too much time. This learning community had its strong points, as well as its downfalls.

College Sophomore

Transportation: There is no campus sponsored transportation. There is a city bus stop on the main road in front of the campus.

5 College Freshman

Computers: They are efficient and there when needed. And they work fast

4 College Freshman

Weather: Its always a beautiful day. Hardly raining or cold. Sunshine sunshine sunshine! :)
