3 College Senior

Majors: If I get a degree will there be job openings for that job.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: There are some good looking girls on campus. I wouldn't expect to see too many models but hey, it's Arkansas. The foreign girls are especially hot ;)

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love Tech! I couldn't have chosen a better school. I am learning more than I ever thought possible.

Nightlife: The nightlife is okay. Pope county is a dry county so you'll have to go out of town to buy liquor, unless you go to a bar.

Local Atmosphere: I love the school and the town's atmosphere. It's a smaller town but there is always a lot going on.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Always a big turnout for the intramural sports. The students have a lot of school spirit.

Diversity: The diversity is not out of control. There are a good bit of international student. The school really pushes for the minority groups.

Off-Campus Housing: Quite a few options for living off campus. Mostly houses and duplex's not any apartment buildings. Available right next to campus if that's what you want.

Off-Campus Dining: The town includes all of the usual fast food joints including burger and pizza shops. There are also many family owned non-chain restaurants. Have yet to have a bad meal.

College Sophomore

Scholarships: I don't believe it was the colleges fault, but I was barely able to receive any financial aid.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The town is large for my standards but has a small feel. Pleasant downtown area. Not many unused buildings. There are quite a few food joints. There is a lack of retail stores, there is no actual mall.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: The students living in dorms are very limited when it comes to who and when for their visitors. There is a no possession of drugs or alcohol and no use of tobacco allowed on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: There are many computers available through the library and academic buildings. The wi-fi is available throughout campus except for the dorms. The students living in dorms are assigned a signal ethernet port which is limited to 5 mbps. Haven't had problems with the network failing. You are required to install a Cisco program on personal computers to access internet.

Health & Safety: I have not used the health office personally, but have friends who were taken care of very well. The campus police are always patrolling whether in cars, UTVs, or bicycles. They even do random walk throughs of the dorms.

4 College Junior

Diversity: There are definitely diversities between all of these groups, but it seems as though everyone gets along and is accepted for the most part. This is another thing I love about ATU.

Athletics: I love both kinds of sports, the varsity and the intramural. Many people seem to support both. Anyone is welcome to the intramural. I actually got to fill in at a softball intramural game a couple weeks ago. I loved it, and I will probably play this spring!

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I am thankful for the financial aid I received, but it was not enough to live on campus and possibly not enough to finish school. I am a first generation college student, and I would REALLY like to get the full experience and finish to set an example for my two younger sisters and future children. This is why I am applying for more scholarships.

4 College Junior

Academics: I am mostly taking general eds and one online class pertaining to my major. It will be like this most of my years, and I love it.

4 College Junior

Academics: I love all of my professors. They definitely challenge me but nothing unbearable. I spend a lot of my time in the library doing homework though!

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: There is definitely a variety of guys and girls here. Most people dress casual for the most part and dress up occasionally.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love this school. It is beautiful, not TOO challenging, has great teachers, and has great students. The only thing I would change would be to live on campus so I could get more involved and get more of the college experience.

4 College Junior

Greek Life: Greek life is a pretty big thing on campus. It seems like a good way to get involved, and I have considered rushing for it next semester.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: I do not live on campus because I cannot afford it right now, but I really hope to be able to in the future. It is easier to get involved and is more convenient when you live on campus. The cost is way too much though.

3 College Junior

Parking: I am living off campus until I can afford to live on campus, and the parking for my tags are away from everything. The closest ones fill up quickly!
