Campus Dining: Right now the Dining Hall is too crowded. Because of this crowdedness if forces a lot of students to find other options to eat elsewhere when in a hurry. Many students do however turn to our food court which has many great options. I would rate the Dinning Hall at a C, but with the Food Court at an A it brings the overall experience back up to a B. The variety is non existent throughout the normal school year. There are several "specials" such as sea food night, but they only occur about twice a semester. With all of this included i would rate the overall eating experience on campus at a B-.

Greek Life: I went to sorority preview day this week and it was a blast!! All of the Gamma Chi's were so sweet and helpful! It made me so ready to rush! The new houses are beautiful and I can't wait to wear letters!

Computers: The computers a really good; however, the individuals in the computer lab are not helpful at all.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Drugs are not visible but that doesn't mean the are not around if you a really looking for them.

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Students really don't have many options that are within a reasonable price range.

Local Atmosphere: Jonesboro is a vibrant town full of local activities.

Off-Campus Dining: No matter where you look, there is always a place to eat. There are dozens of fast food places for something quick and easy, but if you're looking for a sit down restaurant, you'll find plenty of those too. Restaurants like Godsey's, Omar's, and other very nice restaurants give the town a lot of variety. Whether it's Oriental cuisine, Mexican food, or Italian food, we will have an option for whatever you desire.

Off-Campus Housing: There are several apartments around the area. When divided up by the number of months living in on-campus housing, the price for off campus housing is about the same. If you're lucky, some places are cheaper than on campus housing, but most are about the same as on campus. There are many around the campus, but others scattered around town in case you don't want to see the campus from your front door.

Campus Strictness: The campus is strict, but fair. No smoking is allowed on campus due to the Clean Air Act. Alcohol is not permitted either, as well as drugs. Doors to the Quads or other residential halls cannot be propped open, or an alarm will sound and you will get in trouble. Also, parking is very stern. If you have a permit, park where you're only permitted during the day, or you will get a parking ticket out of this world.

Local Atmosphere: Jonesboro has a little bit of something for everybody. For party goers, Downtown Main Street has plenty of bars and pubs. For a walk through nature, Craighead Forest Park has a beautiful view across the lake.

Campus Strictness: the school is very strict on maintaining a good gpa. If your gpa dips, you are placed o academic probation.

Academics: I came to ASU for the civil engineering program. the campus is great and everything else is too. parts of the town are not nice and trashy.

3 College Junior

Academics: I am in the engineering college. The workload is less than what i expected compared to other schools I have been to. I am very satisfied with everything so far except for the lack of internship/job opportunities.

3 College Senior

Academics: Could use more diversity. Mainly education and medical. A bit boring.

Nightlife: While I never went to any college parties, and the bar/club scene was for the 21+, nightlife on campus was extremely fun. My friends and I would hang out in our dorm lobby every night, listen to some music and play pool and board games. It was a blast!

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The food isn't bad, but the hours aren't great. I cannot express how many times I was up late studying when the urge to snack hit me. The cafe closed at 9 every night, except on the weekends, which was 7.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The amenities, social atmosphere, and convenience of on campus living are excellent. The dorm rooms are unbearably hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. The temperature is really the only thing to complain about.

3 College Sophomore

Transportation: Transportation is fairly good at ASU. To get to classes and around campus, a car is more of an inconvenience than a help. There are also shuttle buses that can transport students who live in surrounding areas to campus.

3 College Sophomore

Weather: It is humid, but we get very little snow, and our climate is moderate almost til late October early November. We do see an occasional severe thunderstorm and tornadic activity, but they usually do very little damage!

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Over the years Jonesboro has attracted a wide variety of resturants. They have alot of Mexican resturants and a Irish Pub. They are great!

Guys & Girls: The people at ASU seem to be into what is is hip and cool. There is a very diverse ethnic back ground also.

Weather: It is raining all the time, bad weather with tornadoes, freezing, cold and wet and there are large distances between parking areas and academic buildings. The weather is very unpredictable. Summers are extremely hot with temps in the nineties and one-hundred degrees.

Majors: I am hoping for an internship. Hopefully one that is a paying internship.

Campus Housing: I don't know how to rate them because I never lived on campus
