Diversity: The diversity amongst the University is vast. We are a central hub for a lot of foreign exchange programs, as well as having a strong LGBT community. Everyone is accepting of everybody else simply for the sheer fact that we are all there for the same goal: get a degree. There are very, VERY few people who aren't accepting of every range of diversity, but those people are drowned out by the ones that accept everybody.

Off-Campus Housing: For people who can afford it, there are a lot of off-campus housing options that are right next to the campus. The apartments usually run at a total of $600 for just 2 bedroom apartments, and others that run through the campus and are considered on-campus housing so that scholarships can apply to their rent usually run up to $450. If you can manage to keep scholarships to help with money as well as have a job, then you can definitely afford to live in the off-campus housing around the University.

Athletics: Almost everybody in the area comes to the games. For football, fans swarm in to help cheer on the team. The marching band, dance team, and cheer leaders help keep everybody pumped up, but our players are the ones that show the true strength of when the fans, students, and players come together to sweep through to a victory.

Overall Experience: I think it offers a good environment with a lot of options.

Weather: Arkansas has crazy weather. Weather its Ice, Snow, or Tornadoes school will close.

5 College Senior

Diversity: I have not heard any slander or racial comments for the first year I have been apart of this school.

College Senior

Transportation: I'm an online student so I really do not know.

College Senior

Parking: I'm an online student so I really do not know.

2 College Junior

Majors: The classes don’t line up with the comprehensive exams we have to take. There is no funding for conferences or professionalization experiences for students. Only a handful of faculty members are under 60. There isn’t even funding for a working printer in the writing center, yet the football team gets a new field. The humanities are greatly ignored.

2 College Junior

Weather: My campus needs better tornado planning because our area has a lot of tornadoes

5 College Junior

Diversity: I work with students from at least 7 different countries. There isn’t much outward racism on campus and when it happens, faculty deals with it instantaneously.

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: They are all about the parking

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Lots of international students and tons of preppy girls

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: Plenty of options, all pretty bland

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: All campus parties are kept quiet and away from the majority of the students. No one comes to school high or drunk

1 College Junior

Scholarships: No help for graduate students

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: There are emergency phones all over campus.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: Not the greatest houses, but cheap and close!

3 College Junior

Greek Life: Greek life does some on-campus fun activities for everyone, like bouncy houses and sno cones.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: there needs to be more focus on the humanities department. It is underfunded and under appreciated.

College Junior

Nightlife: I’m a non-trad student with a family. I don’t do the nightlife.
