5 College Senior

Diversity: I have not heard any slander or racial comments for the first year I have been apart of this school.

College Senior

Transportation: I'm an online student so I really do not know.

College Senior

Parking: I'm an online student so I really do not know.

2 College Junior

Majors: The classes don’t line up with the comprehensive exams we have to take. There is no funding for conferences or professionalization experiences for students. Only a handful of faculty members are under 60. There isn’t even funding for a working printer in the writing center, yet the football team gets a new field. The humanities are greatly ignored.

2 College Junior

Weather: My campus needs better tornado planning because our area has a lot of tornadoes

5 College Junior

Diversity: I work with students from at least 7 different countries. There isn’t much outward racism on campus and when it happens, faculty deals with it instantaneously.

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: They are all about the parking

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Lots of international students and tons of preppy girls

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: Plenty of options, all pretty bland

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: All campus parties are kept quiet and away from the majority of the students. No one comes to school high or drunk

1 College Junior

Scholarships: No help for graduate students

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: There are emergency phones all over campus.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: Not the greatest houses, but cheap and close!

3 College Junior

Greek Life: Greek life does some on-campus fun activities for everyone, like bouncy houses and sno cones.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: there needs to be more focus on the humanities department. It is underfunded and under appreciated.

College Junior

Nightlife: I’m a non-trad student with a family. I don’t do the nightlife.

4 College Junior

Computers: Wifi seems sluggish during the semester when everyone uses it.

3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Everything revolves around the college, so there’s not much town charm. It’s all about ASU.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I am not a Greek just because it never caught my attention but now seeing all they do makes me wonder why it never interested me.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Incoming freshmen live on the older buildings. They are nice but they are older. As you continue to live on campus through the years, your residence hall gets better. The Honors buildings are great (even the freshmen ones).

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: The best restaurants in town are within 5 to 7 miles from campus. You would have to drive to these restaurants but they are worth it. If you do not have a car, there is always Jonesboro's public transportation or ask a friend to pick you up.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The Fast Care clinic is great and is on-campus. Unfortunately, it is at the edge of campus. We also have 2 hospitals nearby. One is about 5 miles west and the other about 4 miles east.

5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: I can honestly say that I have never seen or heard of students doing drugs or drinking alcohol on campus. I did see students drinking off-campus. Regarding drugs, I am sure there are people who do it (like everywhere else) but I was never even asked to try them.

4 College Freshman

Academics: I had amazing professors that cared about their students. There are times when you want to give up, but the professors help you through that.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: It was great! I learned a lot not only from classes but also by interacting with the diverse student body. The one thing that I wish I would have done more, is to be involved more in students' organizations.
