5 College Junior

Athletics: sports are very important and many students and alumni attend the games.

4 College Junior

Academics: I came to ASU to earn a Bachelors degree. The professors are very nice and helpful.

Campus Strictness: This campus is strict, but it is for the better for the campus. Some resident assistants take there job very seriously and you wont be able to sneak around and bring unwanted guests in the building or play loud music after quiet hours. With the halls being loud, people cant get there work done. But if you are cool with your RA, then they will work with you in order to better that community for everyone to live in.

3 College Junior

Academics: I am currently in the Dietetics program here. This program just started this year and there are still some kinks to work out. There are only two instructors so far and they are helpful, to a certain extent. There is a lot of coursework. You will never get a break from work. There is always something that you have to do. This is a coordinated program so, therefore, the internship is within the coursework, which is a plus.

4 College Junior

Academics: The work here is very time consuming and some teachers do not allow you to BS your way through the coursework. Some teachers want you to make good grades and help you through it, and other teachers are not that friendly. But if you need to have a get away from everything to study, the library will be the best bet.

3 College Junior

Nightlife: The campus usually throws exclusive parties and you have to know people that are in the fraternities or sororities if you want to go to their particular party. Every Thursday night you will see ASU students at this place called the Brickhouse, that's downtown. There you can enjoy karaoke at the beginning of the night and dancing to your favorite songs by the end of the night

College Junior

Majors: I have not done an internship till my last year of my major.

3 College Junior

Majors: I did not have to apply to get in the major I am in (health promotion). Although, their are health professions you have follow requirements and get into the program. Plan out your schedule and make good grades is my advice.

4 College Junior

Majors: There are all types of majors at ASU with really great professors. We have job fairs, clubs involing the major, internships and etc.

3 College Junior

Diversity: There is a lot of races and religions at ASU. Yes most are white, but our international student population is increasing.

4 College Junior

Majors: As a Health Promotion major, I am happy with my program. I am happy with my advisor. I feel as though I made a good choice and would do it over again. After I graduate I am planning in enrolling into the accelerated nursing program for a year and graduating with a BSN. ASU has a great nursing program! I am hopeful to find a job here in nursing or anywhere else. There is a high demand in Nursing and with bilingual abilities.

3 College Junior

Weather: When it snows the side walks get really it is hard to walk around because classes hardly get cancelled. The dorms are not to far from campus, so it is pretty easy to get around. The problem is students who live away from campus and some travel 15-30 mins away to get here. In the summer though you see everyone outside hanging out.

Campus Strictness: Campus strictness is the norm for any other school. For example, plagarism will get you kicked out and the police is always around 24/7 so that it can keep the campus safe. Just act in a proper manner, and don't do anything stupid.

4 College Freshman

Computers: Everything is up to date. Pretty much all the computers are Mac. The printing is quick and fast. There is always internet access available, and there are plenty computers around campus that students can use.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: What mainly sets this school a part from other schools is the environment. The school is in a small town so it's a community based college pretty much. The class size is small and it also helps that the teacher actually cares about the student succeeding.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: Everything is convienent and great from atheletics to academics. The Red Wolves won the championship this year, and part of that was because of the students. We are students, but also a support team. Jonesboro is a small town, but it is a loving community. The school is exactly like that. There's different clubs like sororities and fraternities that contribute to community service and NRHH as well, which is a club associated with Residence Life. The faculty and staff are such helpful people. The class size is small so you are able to communicate with that faculity member one and one and establish a relationship. Student Activities Board (SAB) and Student Government Association (SGA) are the organizations that bring in cool stuff like concerts and fun games such as lazer tag. Living on campus makes it that much more fun because you get to have the total experience.

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Jonesboro is a huge place with a lot of things to offer. If you need something, Jonesboro definitely has it. The mall if probably one of the best places there. The campus is right in the middle of the town too so everything is pretty easily accessible.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The dorms are as good as can be expected. My roommate was awesome so my experience there was better than most. The air condition and heating was a problem, but easily adjustable.

5 College Freshman

Athletics: There is so much fan support at this school. There's a variety of people that attend each sport and their games. Almost everyone at the school is involved in some way with games and their fan support. School spirit is a huge aspect at this campus. They gym is AMAZING. There are so many options and it actually makes you want to work out.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: The campus is very diverse. You could always find someone with common interests-no matter what your interests are.

3 College Junior

Facilities: ASU has a wide variety of opportunities for cultural enrichment. There are 58 countries represented, and many chances to study abroad.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: I don't eat on campus very often, but there are a variety of choices. The only problem I see with dining, is the price.

3 College Junior

Facilities: I love campus life, but we still have a few areas for improvement, parking for example. Additional study space would help tremendously. During finals the library is so congested, it would be nice if the individual colleges had available, quiet, study rooms.

2 College Junior

Parking: There is not enough parking, and its way over priced!

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: While we always know it will be around us. I must say that the campus police do an amazing job of keeping it off the grounds. you will not feel uncomfortable. There are not smoking allowed on campus at all and you better believe if someone fires up a police or security will come out from nowhere to tell you to put it out. Ive seen it happened. Drinking is all i really see here. Most of the illegal drugs are done off campus and even that is mostly just some pills and marajiuana. Not extreme things like some schools.
