Overall Experience: No to this college – Please say NO to this college. I have been in this college for 2 years and believe me the college is all about money. International admission sucks. They are not at all cooperative. They say something and do something. They will keep mailing you for donations but when it comes to important mails, they are not obliged to do so. I have seen huge bunch of students taking transfer from this college and I will also never recommend this college to anyone.

Overall Experience: Please No to this college – I have been with Arkanasas College since 2 years. Please say NO to this college. The college is all about money. International admissions sucks. They are not at all cooperative. They say something and do something. I have seen a huge bunch of students taking transfer from Arkansas State University as they are terribly upset. If you are in be ready to take the consequences.

Overall Experience: Online Classes Great – The availability of online Masters classes is great! The Academic Partnership program is awesome.

Health & Safety: ASU Very Safe. At ASU there are rarely any crimes. Anywhere you go on campus you are always offered a police escort no matter the day or the time. Every certain amount of feet there are "police poles" with blue lights if you are in danger or scared press the button on there and there will be a campus cop there faster than you can blink. Every campus cop I have met is very friendly and willing to help you with anything. Anywhere I go on campus I feel more than safe, there is always security on campus even at three or four in the morning.

Computers: Computer Labs at ASU...Yay or Nay? At Arkansas State University I would have to say the computer labs are yay. In every building on campus at ASU there is a computer lab inside with printers. They are very easy to get to. All of them can print. Majority require your own paper, but that is not hard to get. Sometimes you just may forget to grab some extra paper. The network I would have to say is great. I have never had problems with it until I was in the dorm. The network in the dorms was horrible, but I have not had trouble out of any other computer lab on campus. The speed and wireless access is great as well. Not slow, probably a little above average. I have a printer and a computer at my household, but it doesn't always work the way I need it to, but I know I can always depend on ASU's computers and printers, they never fail me! Yet, anyways... knock on wood!

Off-Campus Dining: Awesome Experience Wherever You Go – Jonesboro has a variety of dining options. They have plenty near the campus and in the middle of town, and of coarse you can't forget downtown. Every dining option you come across they have reasonable prices, some better than others. You know that you can always eat somewhere under $10 dollars! The dining options here have great service! They are eager to serve you and want you to have the best experience. Jonesboro is a very supportive town, majority of the dining options in Jonesboro gives a student discount for college students. They know us college students don't have just a ton of money so they try to help out as much as possible. You will always get so much food! You almost feel like you get more than what you paid for which in a thumbs up in my book! I would recommend any dining places that are downtown. Those are my favorite. They have a great atmosphere and excellent food! I would check out Godsey's, Creegans, or Omar's!

Scholarships: Not Helpful – My experience with finicial aid is dreadful. Anytime I recive emails from them or have to go meet with them I always dread. One because they don't act like they are willing to help you. They act like they are there for the paycheck and that is it. It seems like they care less if you are helped or not. Two, they never know the answer to any question you have. They either have you wait forever or send you all over campus. Finally, they never get back with you like they say they will. They will say they will keep in touch with you when you are the ones who has to keep in touch with them.

Transportation: Walking Is Best Opinion – On campus students walk from class to class. If you need go off you can call a taxi, but most students have their own car or ride with friends.

Weather: Hot in the Summer – Winter here is not that bad. It gets cold but there is very little snow in this area. The only thing is you might get some ice. Now the summers are unbearable, it starts as early as May with the heat. You want to make sure that your air conditioner works.

3 College Student

Facilities: Small College but Large College Opportunities – This is considered a small college but it offers everything that a large college can. The professors on the whole really want the students to achieve all their goals.

Campus Housing: Older Dorms for Freshmen – The dorms are really small and do not offer a good study environment for students. They need updating and refurnished. The dorms for the upper classmen are small but you get your own bedroom.

Majors: Lacking a Lot of Important Programs – While the cost is very low, so is the value of the program. Most of the classes are cursory at best and will not prepare you for a career in Computer Graphics unless you are willing to put in extra time to learn on your own, you will probably not succeed in the field.

2 College Junior

Majors: Non- Paying Internships – As far as I know, none of the internships, including this one were for pay. The assignments are interesting and can give a student some experience for their field, but there were no interviews. Candidates were chosen on the basis of portfolios submitted. One was even chosen and had to use software she had not even taken a course for yet. Most of the internships that were offered began after the semester started and were not included with grades.

Athletics: Better and Better – Each year I have been a REDWOLF I have grown founder and founder of the athletic programs. We have a top notch rugby program which is like second in the nation I think. Our football team just got a fantastic new head football coach Gus Malzhoun. Our band program supports all of them with great pride and honor. I am proud to say I am a RedWolf

5 College Junior

Computers: Each building has its own computer lab with printers and then the library has a large computer lab on the first floor with multiple smaller ones on all of the other floors.

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: Kind Yet Stern – Our officers take a high moral standard on things like underage drinking and drug use. The worst part about them is when you are gong on the road about five miles over the limit and they pull you over. But that is a small rice when you come to think about how nice they are with everything else. If your car won't start they will come and boost you.

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Cheap and Easy – There a quite a few restaurants around campus that are cheap and super delicious. Some of the restaurants even take flex dollars from our campus cards. There is a great little barbecue place and a quiznos to the front of the school. Around back there fantastic Mexican restaurant called El Monterrey. It gives you a discount when you have your student id and serves great and cheap lunch specials.

Off-Campus Housing: The worst thing is trying to find a nice looking apt for a good price. the better apts are 600+

Campus Dining: Its Fast – The places around campus are good. I guess you get kind of tired of eating at dining halls, but when you need something to eat between classes, you can't complain. NC State dining hall food is not all that bad, it just gets old sometimes. I suggest not buying a huge meal plan after freshman year.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: Decently Staffed to Say the Least – Not all the professors I have had are capable of teaching the job they are assigned.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I Don't Know – I don't know anything about off campus housing due to the fact that I have only been there one year.

5 College Freshman

Diversity: There are so many international students on campus it's ridiculous. I've met and befriended several. It has been a great experience.

4 College Freshman

Weather: Tad Bit Windy – Jonesboro is surrounded by flat land which allows lots of wind. Don't expect your hair to last through out the whole day and night. It does snow but not terribly. the summers are ridiculously hot but I do not have summer classes so i never have this problem.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: Theres Hardly Anything – Almost all nightlife at ASU is at bars in downtown jonesboro. you must be 21 to drink. most 21 year olds are seniors. The only other nightlife you have are the fraternity houses, which are always fun.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: So Safe – I always feel safe walking around campus at ASU. and even IF something happened it is taken care of safely and with zero chaos.
