4 College Junior

Academic Experience: There are many great professors.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: There are a few extra costs for taking classes online (which seems backwards) and the Nursing Program has additional fees associated with it. The Financial Aid department isn't the best at communicating with you ahead of time and that gets frustrating.

5 College Junior

Online Courses: I love the online educational experience available at AWC through blackboard. It works wonderfully!

4 College Junior

Career Services: The school hosts transfer fairs and they bring in other colleges for the students to meet and get info. They also have an alumni group that is available for advice.

4 College Junior

Student Body: There are multiple clubs for students to join and the campus has BBQs and potlucks together. It's really nice!

Academic Experience: As I work full-time and have two small kids both in school as well, this school has been very flexible with my hectic lifestyle. I am eager to gain a career and better support myself and my girls.

5 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Registration process is fast, easy, and the ladies at the front are always full of knowledge and readily willing to help you in any way they can!

5 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: The academic flexibility here does not apply to me yet, however, I plan to transfer to a graduate school and they are gearing me for that as a freshman which is great.

4 College Freshman

Career Services: The post-grad services at Arizona Western are wonderful.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: As a single mother who decided to go back to school after graduating high school a few years ago, this school has the quickest and easiest registration for college. I was always hesitant to go to college because of the applications and registration process, but it took two days to get me back in school. I am very grateful for this college, and can't wait to start my life.

4 College Freshman

Online Courses: The online courses are easy to access and not every class is just online. There is the hybrid courses and interactive television classes as well.

5 College Freshman

Student Body: The student body at Arizona Western is made up of a very friendly, diverse group of people. Everybody here is an individual and we are treated as such. Everyone has a personal view of school, life, and creativity. We can bounce ideas and views off each other and challenge ourselves to see things in a different light constantly.

5 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Financial aid has always helped and in the office they are really helpful. They are always keeping you informed about your credits and payment dues.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I wish we saw or online professor at least one time in the semester to talk about grades finals and important stuff.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Teachers, advisers, staff are all helpful. We can obtain information and help very clear from all of them.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The always have computer lab open until late which is 10:00 pm. With the printing everybody has access and i have never had a network problem neither on computer or laptop.

5 College Sophomore

Facilities: All the facilities are really modern and they are really friendly.

5 College Sophomore

Student Body: The president makes several activities a month for us to meet new people and become more and more familiar with the staff and teachers.

5 College Sophomore

There are many things that make AWC an outstanding college. The small size of the classes allows the instructor to pay attention to everyone, knowing each student by his or her name. The flexibility of class schedules allows students to adjust their extracurricular activities with their school time tables. The affordable tuition allows students to save money while preparing to transfer to a four-year university. Plus, the faculty members are always ready to serve the students. Students are assigned an adviser to help them make important decisions on their academic journey. You can get connected with your laptop to the campus Wi-Fi from the dorms, the cafeteria, Starbucks, or the library. Staying in the college dorms keeps you close to everything. The library offers study rooms of different sizes that you can book for your academic needs. The Student Success Center offers free tutoring in different subjects, as well.

Attending AWC gives you the chance to embrace a new community. Through the diverse nationalities of the international students attending the college, AWC opens the door to a global community and provides the opportunity to discover different cultures. You can join one or more of the many student clubs, such as the Science Club, the Radiologic Technology Club, the Rotaract Club, and the I Team (international team), just to name a few. Besides these individual clubs and organizations, faculty-supervised programs (such as the Matador Ambassador program, the Honors program, Phi Theta Kappa, and the Student Government Association) provide leadership and connection opportunities and also a chance to get scholarships.
