Tuition & Financial Aid: I Love AWC! I think Arizona Western College really does a wonderful job. Considering our location, we have a very modern and well-equipped school. The faculty members are knowledgeable in their fields and always willing to help students exceed in their studies. The financial aid department does a particularly great job of listening to and assessing students' needs and responding quickly. I really hate to leave this school! I look foreword to contributing both time and talent to the AWC community after I'm settled.

Online Courses: Well I think that online courses are pretty good for students that they don't have the time to attend classes. Online classes are different but i guarantee that students do learn what is needed.

Online Courses: Professor/ Student Relationship – With almost everyone of my classes, my professors were completely there for me and answered my questions within a 72 hour mark. I had several problems with online classes but all of my professors were understanding and made sure I wasnt punished over problems that were not my fault.

Academic Experience: I feel the Arizona Western College curriculum as a whole is a little on the basic side, I feel like the college purposely makes it easier so the athletes that score low are punished completely with grades. Especially since Arizona Western College is a college known for its athletics, I feel like the school is taking the athletes in account way too much.

Campus Resources: The Student Success Center – Ever feel like you can't do homework because you don't seem to understand it? Well, not me! My school has an amazing faculty located in the Student Success Center that specifically focuses in helping students with any homework problems they are having. The best part is that they are open from early in the morning to late at night and they are even available Fridays! Not only does the Student Success Center offer me free tutoring but it also offers me free classes in which they help me improve my grammar, or classes in which they help me get comfortable with the TI-84 calculator. That's something not many schools can offer to their students.

Tuition & Financial Aid: School Tuition – The education I get at Arizona Western College is worth the money that I'm paying. I do not qualify for financial aid so I can not say how the financial aid office is. I wish the school would ease the qualifications criteria for financial aid. There are many students like me who still live at home because they can not afford to move out and are struggling financially to pay for college.

Student Body: Easy Bunch of Crowd – They respect diversity here. We have a fair mix of diversity and some fairly attractive individuals.

I truly enjoy the clubs the school has to offer because it enables to meet other students with the same interests. If I had to do it all over, I would most certainly pick my school again since it was a smooth and easy transition.

Overall Experience: What Makes Your School Unique – My experience with AWC is that when I started school the new buildings were finished and I am taking classes in them. In addition my english class experience was awesome because we have computers in the room. So it is much better than going to class and then going to the computer lab. After all Arizona is a hot state so who wants to walk outside. Especially during the summer.

Online Courses: Online courses at AWC allows you to adjust your academic schedule to your extracurricular activities and job schedule. The instructors are very considerate and reply quickly to email when you need help. They even allow us to have they cell phone number for emergency. We have a discussion board that allows us to interact between students and have fun without meeting in person. Instructors also have office hours so that we can still walk in to get the help we need when we cannot solve our difficulties through email or phone call.

For the same subject you have option to choose between mornings and evening classes, online or traditional classes, Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday classes for class that meet twice a week.

There are many things that make AWC an outstanding college. The small size of the classes allows the instructor to pay attention to everyone, knowing each student by his or her name. The flexibility of class schedules allows students to adjust their extracurricular activities with their school time tables. The affordable tuition allows students to save money while preparing to transfer to a four-year university. Plus, the faculty members are always ready to serve the students. Students are assigned an adviser to help them make important decisions on their academic journey. You can get connected with your laptop to the campus Wi-Fi from the dorms, the cafeteria, Starbucks, or the library. Staying in the college dorms keeps you close to everything. The library offers study rooms of different sizes that you can book for your academic needs. The Student Success Center offers free tutoring in different subjects, as well.

Attending AWC gives you the chance to embrace a new community. Through the diverse nationalities of the international students attending the college, AWC opens the door to a global community and provides the opportunity to discover different cultures. You can join one or more of the many student clubs, such as the Science Club, the Radiologic Technology Club, the Rotaract Club, and the I Team (international team), just to name a few. Besides these individual clubs and organizations, faculty-supervised programs (such as the Matador Ambassador program, the Honors program, Phi Theta Kappa, and the Student Government Association) provide leadership and connection opportunities and also a chance to get scholarships.
