Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!

Majors: I've had two summer internships. I was paid really well at both, worked 40+ hours a week and learned a lot. My school, competitions and clubs helped me find the companies to work for.

Majors: My program is the Construction Management program. We just got a new building on campus. It's a smaller group of students, so we all know each other and help each other out. Lots of great student organizations to be a part of, and we have 100% job placement after graduation.

Campus Strictness: Parking violations are very heavily enforced, so make sure you always pay the meter.

Health & Safety: I feel really safe on campus during the day. At night, I'm a tiny bit on edge, but otherwise feel safe. Campus police are always out and there's always students at the libraries and other spots on campus.

Athletics: We have a lot of great teams in many different sports, football and basketball being the biggest of all. The football games are a ton of fun, but I know a lot of students that don't care about sports. I think everyone loves being a Sun Devil, but about half of them apply that to our sports teams as well as academics.
