Campus Dining: Just like an average college. Always go with the Sabra Hummus and pretzels when in a hurry or on the way to class! (Available in the Union)

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: While it is a little scary to walk around campus after dark, there are many lighted paths and there is always a (very kind) Security Officer to walk with you for protection. No need to worry if you take the right precautions!

4 College Sophomore

Nightlife: There are many things to do at ASU, no matter which campus you attend. Because the Tempe campus is the main campus, there are many more things to do. However, there is almost always something to do after class at ASU.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The process was fairly easy and I was able to keep all the forms and were easy to read and understand. The only thing was that I received some scholarship money right as school was about to begin that I did not know of. About two months prior, I accepted students loans because the grant and scholarship money that I was shown was not enough. When I was told of the extra aid that I was receiving, I realized that I accepted loans that I did not need. I would have liked that I was shown all of the aid that I was receiving before being shown options for loans.

College Sophomore

Transportation: I cannot give an exact grade on the transportation at ASU because I have not used it yet. There are buses that pick up and travel to each ASU campus. It is free and has many transportation times. Distance is determined by what campus you are located at and which campus you will be headed to.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: The off-campus dining at ASU West is pretty diverse, offering different restaurants with different types of food. There are many fast food chains in the area, however, there are also places that offer Korean, Italian, and Mexican cuisine.

4 College Senior

Parking: Parking is pricy, but the lots are close to campus and for further lots there are free shuttles to take you to campus.

3 College Senior

Campus Housing: The newer dorms are quite nice, albeit loud due to very thin walls. However, the older dorms smell of mildew and creak as if you are living in a mobile home. Community bathrooms are always an adjustment, but I have to say the school does a great job keeping them clean and presentable.

4 College Junior

Academics: ASU has very helpful professors teaching a first-class curriculum. The registration process was easy. There are many special study options with flexibility in the work load. I love Arizona State University and I am a proud Sun Devil.

4 College Junior

Weather: Some like it HOT. I do!
If you're used to polar climates, ASU is not for you. If you love warmth, sun, and awesome thunderstorm (monsoon season)-got to go to ASU!

5 College Senior

Majors: The audition process at ASU dance almost gives you a one-day tour of the program. There are several parts to it, and they all give a glimpse to how it's going to be if you actually get in.

2 College Senior

Parking: It's expensive and not enough parking spots for the large number of students that drive to school. The parking system is simple and well-organized, in my opinion, so that's why I gave a C- rather than a D or lower.

5 College Senior

Majors: I transfered into ASU school of dance. If I could do it all over again, I would like to do the actual four years rather than three. This program has a lot to offer.

5 College Senior

Majors: ASU school of dance undergraduate curriculum is currently one of the leading blueprint for many schools. We ask questions and explore subject matters that not many have dove into. You get a lot of choices during your four years there, and it is really what you make of it. It can be as tough or as "easy" as you would like it to be.

Parking: Very efficient so far as you have your parking permit

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Campus is safe with tight security. You must also ensure your safety by locking your doors, rooms and also help report thefts

5 College Freshman

Campus Dining: Dinning meals are affordable, international meals are also available and you get to choose your meal plan as well

5 College Freshman

Diversity: Acceptance to this school is very simple and there are no challenges to ethnic/racial diversity.the school is open to all international students worldwide

1 College Sophomore

Parking: Since I don't have a car I don't have to worry about parking. But for the people that do have a car, it is a living nightmare if it is not the weekend. $700 just for the student parking on my campus and the fines are more ridiculous than the ones the police give you.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: I reside at the campus in downtown Phoenix, so if you are not 21 there isn't much to do and we don't have the convenience to go to any house parties outside of our campus to go to.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: The computer labs are very convenient, the prices for printing is not though.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Living in Central Phoenix, there is quite a bit of driving required but it is much less expensive than the costs of living on campus.

5 College Sophomore

Transportation: Transportation is very good at ASU. There are plenty of shuttle services available as well as a light rail that passes right by campus.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: There is large variety of races at the main campus of ASU. However, the largest volume of students are most likely Asian or white. There appears to be a high level of acceptance of the ethnic diversity do to the large size of the student body and comprising of people from all over the world..

4 College Junior

Majors: The major selections are some of the most diverse of any university, with around 150 majors to choose from. It can be hard to distinguish the differences between the all the majors and selecting one can be hard.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
