College Sophomore

Diversity: I will not be attending ASU until Spring 2014 and will be attending entirely online.

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: There is just so much to do and there is so much school pride, not to mention it's like being on spring break year round.

3 College Freshman

Computers: The computers all work well and printing isn't expensive but sometimes wifi can be slow.

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: There's always something to do whether it is shopping, going to sporting events, or even taking part in an on-campus activity.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: The variety near the campus I attend is just okay. You can go to two burger chains, a pizza chain, taco bell, and some smaller restaurants, but their food is just okay.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: At first I didn't see anything that stood out of my school, but as I got involved with student organizations I saw just how great student life can be. Academic wise, the teachers are great. I've had mostly positive experiences with all of my classes and I've learned a lot.

4 College Senior

Diversity: There are a lot of international students, so it's great to meet people who have grown up in another country and learn about them. There are also LGBTQ student orgs, so the University is very accepting and the students too.

4 College Senior

Athletics: This year the Football team almost won the PAC 12 championship, so the team is very good!

5 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: The girls here are hands down the best in the country!

Drug Safety: Drugs will be around parties, but in no way does anyone feel they must use them in order to have a good time.

5 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Hottest girls in the country. Hands down

Drug Safety: It's the best at being the worst - If you know what I mean :)

5 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: From mill ave to Scottsdale up the street it's a great location for all kinds of people. Lots of hidden gems and things to keep yourself busy. Never a dull day.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: ASU is the ultimate college experience. So many people from around the world so much culture so many things to do. It's just getting bigger and better every year.

5 College Junior

Nightlife: Mill ave. once you're 21 is like striking gold. Get it while you're young.

3 College Junior

Transportation: Didn't use the transportation too much but from what I heard it was pretty simple.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: Dining hall was okay near most dorms but the honors college has the best dining hall with lots of options and better food. Cost more but was worth it. By the end of the semester you were tired of everything anyways.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: So many different options around campus. Mom and pop shops or chains, they all love asu.

4 College Junior

Greek Life: Lots of Greek life but the president of ASU hates Greek life hence no Greek row.

4 College Junior

Weather: Summers are hot until October but it's amazing. Nice weather makes people happier

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Lots of ways to get to parking lots safely, they have safety escort which is run by a fraternity and they'll pick you up anywhere on campus and drop you off anywhere on campus.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: The sun is hot but the girls and guys are hotter.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: I never had any issues with getting the financial aid it always disbursed what I expected.

Campus Housing: A lot of buildings are being done or are redone which is nice but there are still some that aren't done and are old with hardly working showers etc.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
