Health & Safety: There are all kinds of safety and security that are set up on campus. I feel better walking in groups, but often I do walk alone on campus.

4 College Freshman

Academics: I have had a really positive experience in all of my classes and with all of my professors.

Computers: There are a ton of computer labs on campus as well as ready to use printers, wireless access all over campus. However I do own my own laptop and printer.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: ASU is very strict when it comes to underage drinking and drug use on campus.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Its not really strict....very cool

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: If you are light skinned, no matter the race just as long as your light. you'll be accepted and can attain women. If you are in any shape or form brown or darker, good luck. they are very accepting of the gay community from what I've heard, but from the aspect of race...you'd think you were a terrorist here. Your kind of the outcast. this is in the area of dating and the women idk about everything else, you get treated fairly.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Drink or not, it doesn't matter, you'll have fun no matter what honestly

4 College Sophomore

Computers: A lot of computer labs, tech support is alright. Free software, that was a joke. A LOT of computer labs. Printing isn't too bad. Network sucks, the speed sucks, and the wireless network sucks here too.

5 College Sophomore

Transportation: Shuttles are free and so are the on campus buses. But other than that, the other stuff either costs average or it's hiked in prices.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: It all depends where you live, Freshman have to live on campus if they come from out of state. Once your done with freshman year, your kind of screwed. You can either spend 12,000 a year to get a cool place but other than that the upperclass on campus dorms SUCK!!!! Come here if you have money, simply put.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: I like the program because I actually do learn, right now I'm on poly campus and everything is hands-on which I actually love

College Sophomore

Academics: It's very difficult but, you do learn a lot

College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Haven't been able to get into an off campus place yet

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
