4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Housing: It all depends on where you live and what campus you are on.

3 Recent Alumnus

Diversity: I don't see what diversity has to do with anything, but there's almost 50,000 kids so you see everything. But we're all the same, so does it really matter? It definitely helps for scholarships though.

4 Recent Alumnus

Greek Life: All of the Greek life programs seem great! I'm excited to rush to get involved.

4 Recent Alumnus

Guys & Girls: You really see everything here. There's almost 50,000 kids so you really see it all.

3 Recent Alumnus

Nightlife: I'm not really a partier, so I'm definitely the wrong person to ask!

5 Recent Alumnus

Athletics: It's awesome! Sun Devil pride is all over Phoenix!

Scholarships: I was a transfer student and I didn't get any aid. Except $30,000 in loans, but I don't consider that aid at all. A lot of transfers didn't get anything and it really sucks.

5 Recent Alumnus

Facilities: All of the campuses have something different to offer!

Overall Experience: Unlike the stereotype, classes at ASU are actually very challenging and invigorating. I absolutely love my major and have learned so much. So happy I transferred.

Overall Experience: The Phoenix area is a hotspot for jobs and internships.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It's neither here nor there.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: ASU provides tons of help with securing future jobs and supporting students.

Campus Strictness: I don't live on campus so I am unsure of how strict it is in the dorms, but ASU does have "Walk Zones" where students can only walk (of course) to ensure the safety of students without worrying about cars or bikes and they do a pretty good job of enforcing the zones.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: fast food places on the Tempe campuses- not a ton to choose from, but the food is always good.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: I think it would really depend on the major, but I have liked the majority of the classes and professors I have had. I do feel that I am learning a lot and receiving a quality education.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: I have not yet been to any parties.

College Sophomore

Majors: I haven't yet had an internship so I can't rate what they would be like. However, I do plan on getting an internship in the (possibly near) future because they are nice way to gain experience in your future work field. I have some concerns about getting a internship if only because I have little experience, but the school does offer a lot of help in searching and preparing resumes for them.

5 College Sophomore

Majors: Getting into ASU and my current program/major was amazingly easy. All I had to do was fill out basic information, submit transcripts, and have my SAT scores sent to the school- NO ESSAY. I would say that your grades are the most important criteria.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The process involving financial aid is very easy and the people working in the office are helpful.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I enjoyed having free laundry and my own bathroom only shared with a roommate. The move-in process is so nice.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The dining hall could work on its variety and quality of food, but the late night on campus dining is GREAT!

5 College Sophomore

Academics: My major is full of amazing faculty and students. We have created such a community. Though the workload is tough, it isn't impossible. you can always find help.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: I think the variety of classes available as well as the spaces available in the classes are ideal.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It is easy to find job opportunities on campus and a variety of jobs at that.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have loved all my professors. You get a lot of one-on-one time and personalized assistance. The professors all have open door policies and love talking to the students.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
