College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I don't live close to school, so I'm not aware of the market. From what I hear, it's definitely overpriced for what you get.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: Asu is a definite melting pot. The amount of people on campus make it impossible to not be. everyone is pretty accepting except for one gentlemen who stands outside of the memorial union who exclaims that basically everyone is going to hell.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: ASU is flooded with fraternity and sorority members. They are everywhere which makes the campus looks awfully color coded with matching shirts and arm tans. Frat guys are usually preppy looking with an extreme sense of self confidence. In turn, sorority girls are always lined up snapping selfies. The other 20% of ASU's population rocks a "sparky" tshirt and is pretty average looking.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Dorm rooms are small and resemble a prison. But most classrooms are spacious and clean. Proximity to class is dependent on the dorm.

College Sophomore

Transportation: Never used public transportation. Only know what I've heard.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Tons of people. Gets crowded, but lots of school pride.

2 College Freshman

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
