4 College Junior

Drug Safety: Rules and regulations are enforced.

Off-Campus Housing: I live in an apartment off campus and its great for privacy and decreased noise level reasons!

3 College Junior

Transportation: The train comes on a pretty decent schedule and fairs are not bad.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I wish more scholarships were available for the teachers college.

4 College Junior

Facilities: ASU has many resources to offer its students! Everything from the library to the gym are excellent!

5 College Junior

Facilities: The campus is beautiful and well maintained

Nightlife: There are plenty of options for party goers on campus. It can get disturbing at times during the weekdays.

Weather: Arizona has great weather most of the year! Summer time is when it gets unbearably hot but its usually not so bad!

3 College Junior

Parking: Cost of parking is pretty high! Wish permits were cheaper and allowed us to park in all lots.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: Plenty of chain options and health alternatives as well.

5 College Junior

Scholarships: I paid for Fall 2013 entirely through loans and it was quite the process to have the private loan approved, but it was all taken care of.

Campus Dining: I love the dining options on the Tempe campus because there are specialty places such as Subway, a sushi place, Burger King, etc. If these locations are not open, the on campus grocery store has a vast amount of options.

Facilities: I believe ASU is a great school to innovate and learn. Despite the size of the university, students are recognized for their efforts, students are given several opportunities to advance themselves in their fields, and are given great involvement opportunities.

Facilities: The athletic centers are great on every campus. The West campus just had a brand new gym built in the Spring of 2013. The campuses always have some activity going on and the social life is great.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: ASU offers a great security detail and has emergency phones all over campus.

4 College Junior

Academics: The school that I am in challenges its students and provides a decent education in the focus.

3 College Junior

Academics: Registration can be tough because of the large size of the university, but I am fortunate to receive priority registration because I am in the honors college. The professors and their workloads are more than reasonable and manageable for a working student.

4 College Junior

Majors: I love the accounting/finance field and I want to go into these areas in business.

4 College Junior

Computers: The availability of computers for on and off campus is great. The wifi does often run into issues, however.

Local Atmosphere: At the West campus in Glendale has the atmosphere of a small, private university. It is quiet and remote but has several things within 15 to 20 miles of the campus.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
