Transportation: I have only taken the buses and the light rail system, not the zip cars.

Campus Housing: The rooms are fine. I enjoyed the time I spend in the dorms.

Diversity: Before coming to ASU I've never heard so many different languages spoken in one area in my life. There are so many different groups on campus that allow you to meet people that you otherwise would have never bumped into.

Campus Housing: While staying in the dorm my freshman year I was always close to my classes and to my fellow classmates.

Off-Campus Dining: Most of the restaurants that surround campus are pizza, thai, yogurt, bagel, wing spots and a variety of so many other chain of restaurants! There is always so many options to choose from. I love pizza and within a quarter to a half a mile from campus are at least 7 different pizza places: Gus', Slices, Pizza Hut, Hungry Howies, Oliveo's, Dominoes, and my favorite, Big Jimmy's.

Greek Life: Most conversations that I hear about Greeks from non-Greek students are mostly party based, while the conversations or explanations that I hear from Greek-Life students are how they raise money for causes such as charities and functions of that nature and how they are all about enhancing their surrounding community with projects.

Campus Strictness: Newly implemented on our Tempe campus are our "Walk Only Zones" throughout the various mainstream and busiest traveled routes on campus. It helps greatly with the avoidance of accidental collisions with bikers, boarders and walking pedestrians. It effects me personally academically because I have to regard my time wisely between classes while on my bike to get to class in a timely manner while adjusting to the constant flow of student traffic.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
