4 College Sophomore

Academics: The academics can range from really great to really poor. some teachers know how to teach while others expect the work to be completely done by the students.

Weather: The Weather fluctuation is from really really hot in the summer, where you just stay inside or lounge in the many pools that are available to students, or the cold in the winter where you just have to throw on a little heavier jacket and everything is okay.

Off-Campus Dining: There is Mill street right off campus and there are plenty of little restaurants that students can walk to and enjoy for a cost efficient price.

Local Atmosphere: Tempe is a town not just for college but also for night life and family. Chandler is close, so is Mesa and Phoenix is too. Everything is just a short drive away.

Overall Experience: I've learned a lot from my time at ASU and even though some of it was because of poor situations, it was all worth it in the end.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: ASU is a great campus to be on. I would't want to be anywhere else.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: There are a lot of clubs or sports or activities that are going around all the time on campus, its pretty much impossible to not find something that is entertaining on campus or even slightly off campus.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I haven't been there yet but from what I have heard it is a great service to have on campus.

5 College Sophomore

Transportation: Its always easy to find a ride in Tempe, whether it be light rail or taxi or car or what ever it may be.

Guys & Girls: A very large portion of the school has style and is good looking at ASU.

Overall Experience: Financial aid , and school school aren't helpful when in ineed

Scholarships: The financial aid representatives were helpful but there was done confusion which caused me a bit of concern. I also did Not receive the assistance that I needed to make my tuition more affordable. I would suggest having ask the paper work needed at hand always because there are often mistakes made on the forms requiring people to provide the information needed all over again. Also, don't rely on the counselors for financial advise. Visit a financial aid representative directly as they are the experts in that area.

Athletics: Our football team definitely has a lorry of super from the student body and the games are always packed. This s it's probably in part due to the access that students have to the tickets. The prices are affordable for students which allows for the games to be regular events people attend. The stadium is well kept and it provides a safe embodiment for everyone tho enjoy the game.

Transportation: The transportation from one campus to the other is absolutely free. Although sometimes there are a lot of people using the shuttle, our is better than having to pay for public transportation. The routes taken by the drivers are also the most efficient ones and the shuttle are typically always running on schedule.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
