3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: ASU owns a lot of the off campus housing so that makes things interesting but there just SO many students that there is all types of housing.

5 College Freshman

Drug Safety: It is ASU... If you want it, they got it. The cops here are terrible though, un friendly discriminate towards our age group and are looking to arrest you.

5 College Freshman

Athletics: We put far too much money into the athletic programs, but our stadium is going to be nicer and as far as the SRC goes (Students gym)...WOW <3

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Like before, with lots of kids there are lots of problems, chances are there is someone that went in that had a much bigger problem that day so you need to be quick swift and thorough.

3 College Freshman

Majors: WP Carey is a great school but I would say their number one priority is to take as much money from you as possible and then kick you out.

2 College Freshman

Majors: The graduation rate at ASU for 4 years is about 1/3. It is important to realize that they make is hard to graduate quick which surprisingly means you will have to pay for tuition a few more years. (Sarcasm Intended)

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Tempe has a lot of places to offer for food. I would just say the farther away you are from campus the less you are treated like a college student. ASU is all about knowing where and when, you can find deals but it takes time.

4 College Freshman

Computers: The technology here is great the only problem is that there are A LOT of people so you need to know which places are less populated and what times are less busy.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I am personally a business student at ASU and to be honest this place steals your money at every turn. The housing is over priced, the markets on campus overly inflated, it is clean, new, and nice but it costs far too much in my opinion. However once you get the hang of things and move off campus or figure out a housing deal with the university costs go down considerably.

5 College Freshman

Diversity: Since the school is SO large there is people of all shapes and sizes around here. I would honestly say the most rare thing to see is very overweight people at the school. It makes sense though, being in 110 degrees and not feeling comfortable wearing a tank top why would you want to go to school in the middle of the desert.

College Freshman

Nightlife: There are a lot of fun activities to do around campus.

Computers: Usually you can find an unoccupied mac or PC to use.

3 College Junior

Majors: My health science program has a pretty heavy workload.

Majors: My internship was unpaid but did count towards credits.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There's not many affordable or quick options nearby.

4 College Junior

Diversity: Many professors and students come from diverse backgrounds.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: It's at least cheaper than anything dorm or food-related on campus.

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: I've gotten a lot of parking citations from this school.

3 College Junior

Nightlife: There are some bars in the area, house parties, but not a lot of clubs.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
