4 College Senior

Diversity: ASU supports people of all backgrounds. I believe diversity is an important aspect in ASU's mission as a university.

4 College Senior

Weather: Aside from the 2-4 months of triple digit heat, the state of Arizona spends much of its year in the 55-85 degree range. Beautiful sunsets, as well as exciting monsoon storms.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: I am not a part of greek life.

5 College Senior

Facilities: ASU is constantly evolving and innovating. Within the past year and a half, we have added multiple shaded walkways topped with solar panels, constructed a brand new student recreation center, and additional business school building.

5 College Senior

Facilities: The campus and student life is stupendous here. On the main campus, students live in a true college town. Tempe Arizona is populated between August-May with over 80,000 students. The city has many 24-hour food spots, as well as delivery fast food chains. Events are constant, and include events in the surrounding cities. Students will not be let down to live here.

5 College Senior

Computers: Many of our computer labs are often equipped with iMacs, macbooks, and even group centers where students can display their work on a big screen monitor.

4 College Freshman

Computers: It great when it comes down to needing printer paper or a computer because you can print on campus using one of the campus computers even to barrow one. The bad is the wi-fi, so many students are using it that it logs you out.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: not much greek available from what I have seen personally.

5 College Freshman

Transportation: It's great when it comes to transportation because you have a light rail and campus buses.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: It has been great considering personal circumstances

4 College Senior

Athletics: There is an apparent athletic support system but campus life does not revolve around it.

2 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: In every college there are people from all over the world and don't be surprised if you ever meet a person that you never encountered with.

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Everything you can find would be around you easy to get to as well.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: The campus seems very safe. I have never felt unsafe on campus.

1 College Freshman

Parking: Having a car on campus won't be necessary only to get to campus but to get to your class you can walk. Parking garages are expensive when they're closer and if you park anywhere outside of that you have to be very careful because enforcement is constantly going around and basically is the only thing police check for during they day.

Drug Safety: Have not heard too much of drug use on this campus

4 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: everything is in close proximity

4 College Senior

Nightlife: You can nearly see the bar scene from campus

5 College Freshman

Academics: There are so many opportunities that the school provides to students as of work and internships.

5 College Freshman

Academics: They have plenty of study areas just very few students take advantage of them. Professors are the best because they provide real live stories from there perspective and knowledge of field.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: They can dress a bit inappropriate with far too much skin showing

5 College Freshman

Nightlife: It's great because transportation is easy as taking the light rail to just walking a distance to where you need to go.

5 College Freshman

Weather: Arizona has the best whether and summer time is great when the school provides a roof pool for students only. You can do so much in here.

2 College Senior

Weather: Being that it is Arizona, the weather tends to be extreme. It is either extremely hot or extremely cold, making it difficult to tread across campus from class to class.

5 College Freshman

Campus Housing: It's the best when you look at it. It is a bit expensive but if you look at the quality it's worth it because you get your own bathroom with shower and sink and am pretty sure most colleges have to share showers with everyone. The housing process is strict so you have to make your final decision and when you submit it it's hard to get out of it because you have to follow through the time period unless otherwise. You got to go through a process to change your on campus status.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
