2 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: there is no social feel to being in the dorm. no one knows their neighbors

Off-Campus Dining: Off-campus dinning varies from mexican, to sushi, to pizza

College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: The police do their job and do not waist their time with pointless confrontations

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I do not see or hear of much activity if any on campus

2 College Sophomore

Weather: The winters are great, but all other times of the year is way too hot

College Sophomore

Nightlife: I do not drink, but mill ave is very active at night.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: The major that i am in is most likely one of the most difficult on campus

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: There is not much if any drug use seen on campus. everything is done off campus

4 College Sophomore

Majors: The teachers are great, classes are appropriate and i am learning necessary things

College Sophomore

Majors: I did not have any special requirements to get into the major i am in now

2 College Sophomore

Transportation: I do not use this service because i do not see it as a way to get from one place to another fast enough. I'd must rather longboard

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: The campus is diverse to an extent. there are of course national students, homosexual students, and there is a range of religions across canpus

3 College Freshman

Weather: In the winter it's really nice, but at the end of the year, it gets really hot.

4 College Freshman

Transportation: it's easy to get here if you have a ride. its also fairly convenient to take a bus here as well

5 College Freshman

Diversity: There are many different people from everywhere at Arizona State. I love the fact that i can meet someone from so far away and we can connect.

Athletics: After the university recently expanded the Sun Devil Fitness Center it is apparent that athletics are a big part of ASU. On top of that, the intramural sports system is quite extensive.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Never once have I thought that I was attending a school that was giving up on academics because of its 'party school' reputation. The W.P Carey School of Business is one of the best in the nation and its quite difficult.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: Most people who attend this school know what they are getting into. Drugs and Alcohol are easy to get and everybody partakes.

College Sophomore

Campus Housing: Housing is very different depending on where you get put. Some dorms have gyms, dining halls, and basketball courts, while some have a communal bathroom and thats it. Luck of the draw/major.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Tempe is surrounded with small apartment complexes and a few small residential neighborhoods. Although not very visually pleasing, the nightlife makes up for it all.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: My greatest problem at meal time is which of the many places around campus area to eat, great variety.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: You can get away with just about anything if you are smart. Blatant disregard for authority will not last long at all however.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: Computer Labs can be crowded and the campus just made printing no longer free. Other than those two things, the computers are nice and myASU is a great online resource.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: Definitely a wide array of majors to choose from. Never did I feel like their wasn't a place I couldn't explore academically.

4 College Sophomore

Majors: I do not currently have an internship but the Sun Devil Career Link makes it extremely difficult to find one.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
