Academics: Professors Want Students to Succeed – I've always been happy with the teachers in my area of study, They are available outside the classroom for additional help and really want their students to succeed.

3 College Senior

Athletics: Good Spirit – School spirit is very much a part of ASU. The stadium is always packed at home games. I do think spirit would increase if the football team improved. Other teams, like baseball and softball are exceptional, but no one pays enough attention to them.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I Wouldn't Trade the Experiences! I'm not going to share them, but I have to tell you, you will be grabbed into college life and you'll never want to let go.

3 College Junior

Weather: The Beginning of the school year and end are hot! However, Fall and Winter is a beautiful time.

3 College Junior

Academics: The Microbiology major requires the utmost time for study like many of the sciences. However, you are not alone, recently started Microbiology group here at ASU has aided the field of study to study subjects and interact with real world workers and assemblies. The program is wonderful. However, if you want a lab job, you have to earn it and find it yourself at the school- they are not just handed out.

Academics: Industrial Design Program Is Great – Although I have read many bad reviews about the lack of good professors on campus, the industrial design part of ASU is great!! Unlike many of the schools that require portfolios before entering freshman year, I was automatically given a chance to show them what kind of a student I can be within the first couple years. It has a great program! One of the top ten schools for Industrial Design in the nation.

Parking: Parking permits are extremely expensive. Not only are they expensive, there are too many to remember where you can park with certain permits. However, there is a light rail that goes right by the Tempe campus, which ASU provides coupons for the year pass.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Although I am not 21, I have several friends that are of age. Right by the Tempe campus, is Mill Avenue. Located on Mill Ave are several bars and clubs; many places to have a drink and catch up with friends.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Elementary Education – I am not quite sure how the education process is at Arizona State University. I have recently finished my first year of college. My first year consisted of general requirements. I have not yet got acquainted with the education progrom. However, I look forward for the experience.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: During rush week, which seems to be a majority of the semester, there are plenty of tables, participants, fliers and meetings available for students to be involved in. In the bookstores both on campus and off campus there are a variety of Greek life supplies and decorations. Everyone seems to be nice if you talk to them, they seem to be outgoing with the ones they know which is nice.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: Wireless Access – There is plenty of space for students to sit and access their course and emails around campus. It is best if your computer is charged completly in case you can't find an outlet. The computer commons have numerous computer stations, there are stations with both mac and desktop computers. It is very nice to have a choice for the two! ASU also set up an area in the commons for groups to meet, plenty of table space and chairs. The best part is it is open pretty much all the time. Hayden is availaBLE 24 HRS/DAY which is especially nice when your personal computer has issues!

Academics: The Best Teacher – Of all the business courses I have take at WP Carey my favorite professor is Karen Geiger. She is very informative, plenty of examples of problems, goes over the material in the right amount of time, she will meet one on one to make sure you understand the material. Her breakout instructors and very knowledgeable of Accounting rules, they make sure you understand the material.

Academics: Business Honors Is Amazing! I am in the WP Carey Academy, which is the Honors Business school. We get free computers and printing for our classes, which is amazing. The networking opportunities that come out of the WP Carey school are endless. They help connect you with jobs and internships all the time, to ensure your success after graduation.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Mill Avenue Rocks – There is a bunch to do around ASU. You can climb A mountain, hang out and shop on Mill Avenue, or just explore the campus. Whatever you are interested in, there is something for you. Check it out!

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: Drugs while not a large problem, do plague our school. Almost everyone smokes pot, and every drinks but it gets pretty rare that the drugs get any harder than that. MIC's are a VERY big problem.

5 College Junior

Academics: Thriving, Striving and Starving – ASU is well known for their sports, their growing popularity as a fun yet intelligent school. Constantly growing and preparing our student for a future. However the school also has a problem of raising tuition year after year making it so that student have to drop out because of how much they owe or they have to be drowning for the rest of their lives in the debt that is their student loans

Off-Campus Dining: Great Variety – There is many choices out of campus as well and there is also a lakeside restaurant.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Coming from New Jersey, it was culture shock and it was the best experience of my life. I have learn so much from being at ASU that most people could never say they had. ASU almost forced me to grow up in a way because I did not have the luxury of coming home every weekend or seeing my friends.

4 College Sophomore

Parking: There is much parking on our campus, every where you go you will see a parking lot. Most people ride their bikes every where so there is always a parking spot open.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: Registration Process – The registration process at Arizona State is very good, that you have to make an appointment with your advisor and then you will go over what class you need. They even give you a time slot in when you can start registering for your classes online. You can even view the classes and times before your slot opens up. It is a very easy process and our advisors make it that way for us.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: We Have Rules for a Reason – We all have our onw set of rules that we follow wether it be on how much time we spent on studing and parting. The school doesn't really have a say on that as long as we do good in class. One thing that is confusing is the alcohol policy in the dorms. They say if your of drinking age you can have have it but then they do room check and then get busted for having it on campus.

5 College Freshman

Athletics: Every Team Is Awasome – Vasity Sports are a huge thing at ASU especially when it comes to our football and men's basketball. when it come time for a face off with UofA its on like Donky Kong.

5 College Freshman

Academics: Easy to Communicate With. The Art and Design Adviors are great in keeping in contact you with a student not only to help them figure out a problem with their classes but also with something regarding the campus itself. They get a hold of you wether it be by email or a phone call to make sure that you are aware of what is going on with your classes and or other questions that you may have.

4 Recent Alumnus

Nightlife: Party Capital – CRAZY. But its up to you how much/ how many days a week you join

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Dining: Sub Par – The school dining was horrible. I cooked primarily for myself. But ASU does house numerous restuarant on and around campus that are amazing and more than reasonable for students. Delicious!

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
