3 College Freshman

Majors: I plan to inter in a psychiatric facility.

2 College Freshman

Drug Safety: More than half of student partake in drugs and it is easy for them to access it.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Many student choose off campus housing because its cheaper than dorms.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Everybody always goes all out for the games, especially football and basketball games.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: There are so many different Races and religions that its interesting t just walk around and be able to tell who is what race.

3 College Student

Overall Experience: just going for the degree

3 College Junior

Diversity: There are lots of different people with different backgrounds on campus. However, it is typical to see many students from high SES circles instead of those of us with low SES because it's so expensive.

2 College Junior

Parking: It's extremely expensive to park anywhere near campus. I usually tend to park next to the farmer ed building and pay ten bucks a day to park but the lot fills up fast.

4 College Senior

Transportation: I am an online student so transportation issues are of no issue to me.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: Just started the process of financial aid. So far it has been easy. Doing the government financial aid was easy.

4 College Senior

Campus Strictness: Campus security is helpful, and they are usually only a hassle to deal with if you are being difficult. Parking is the one area I would critique them on- it's a little too strict with the parking tickets and citations, given that the parking situation on/around campus is terrible. Not enough parking spaces are available within reasonable walking distance to campus.

4 College Senior

Computers: The computers available on campus are pretty good usually, though most students use their own laptops. The printing costs are insane, and the speed of the network is sometimes very slow. But wi-fi is available campus wide, which is helpful.

3 College Senior

Drug Safety: I don't participate in this scene, so I can't give a huge review. But it seems like it's under control, and yet it is known that there are students who participate.

4 College Senior

Nightlife: Mill was fun once I turned 21!

1 College Senior

Greek Life: If Mr. Crow gave the Greek system the time of day, I promise you it would be 100% better than what it is. Look at UofA for example, their houses are clean and nice. They still throw parties, but they're not as absurd and violent and dangerous as the ones at ASU because they are accepted and closer to campus. Also, community service sororities should be more accepted into Greek life if they want to be. There should not be any bias based on social versus service.

4 College Senior

Campus Housing: University Towers was the best! Cholla sucked.

3 College Senior

Athletics: It is fun for school spirit and school reputation, but I still wish more focus and effort was made for schools, for example the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: ASU is kind of like the real world.... Lots of different people of all different styles and backgrounds. some are very studious, others don't care about school. It's what you make out of it.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Health Services has been very helpful

College Sophomore

Health & Safety: When i went to the campus, i did not see any security people.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: I think this school is pretty diverse. We have students from all different walks of life on campus. I enjoy seeing the many different faces that you are guaranteed to run into on a daily basis.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: The occasional pothead from california or colordo

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: Interaction with greeks all depends on your major. North campus is less greek friendly.

2 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: After freshman year, be prepare to live in an overpriced apartment or venture into the ghetto.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
