Athletics: While our athletic events are fun, the teams are not very good. We rarely make playoffs of championship rounds.

1 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Arizona state is known for partying and it is everywhere! Every video on youtube shows drinking, smoking, and cocaine use. The pressure to take part in such activities is great.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: ASU takes active security measures to keep the campus safe. Advisory message systems are used to notify students of events occurring on campus so that they may steer clear and keep safe while police investigate. There is a campus transportation offered for students staying on campus late at night who need a ride back to there dorms, overall the campus feels safe to walk around alone, but its always better to walk in pairs.

5 College Freshman

Scholarships: ASU offers a lot of scholarships and has an easy to maneuver online search and application system. Financial Aid process is easy to apply and understand, and clear instructions are given for its accurate completion. Only advice is that if you need help go to the Financial Aid Office they will help you with whatever you need, but always ask three people.

College Freshman

Nightlife: I don't live on campus but there are plenty of events and opportunities for students to go out to a bar, clubbing or party. There are plenty of bus stations around campus and a lightrail station down the street. Everything Convenient and energized.

5 College Senior

Athletics: Sports here at ASU are huge and are highly publicized by the public as well as the students of the university. School Spirit at ASU if flaunted proudly by infants all the way to grandparents. I like to give out ASU shirts on purpose to proudly represent to maroon and gold. Go SUN DEVILS!

4 College Senior

Diversity: The diversity at ASU is extremely mixed all stemming from different parts of the United States or even different parts of the world. Acceptance at ASU is very welcoming for anyone of any background, the student body offers plenty of different resources to best accommodate those who seek common fellowship in all areas. At ASU you will find anyone and everyone kind of person so to speak that you may be looking for.

4 College Freshman

Campus Dining: ASU has a wide variety of fast food places and two campus restaurants, pitchfork and engrained, both of which have good quality food

5 College Freshman

Academics: ASU has an excellent and competitive Industrial design program with professors bringing a wide variety of experience from within the field.

5 College Freshman

Athletics: School spirit is at it's max here at Arizona State University. Students are proud to be a Sun Devil and are not afraid to show it. The school is very active, students highly involved, and fann support at it's maximum level.

Majors: Finding an internship is going to be a challenge. I do want to get an internship because I want to get experience in the field I declared. It will open up new opportunities and widen my perspective of what the business industry is really about. I work for W. P. Carey School of Business so I have had the experience of knowing some of what the business industry is like and what they expect from students.

3 College Freshman

Majors: Being in Business Law Legal Studies at Arizona State University is quite a challenge. There is a lot of studying that has to be done for a business degree. I have not gotten in depth into the Legal Studies Program but what I have researched, it is sure to be a wild ride! As if for an internship, I am a bit intimidated due to the fact that a lot of people apply.

Drug Safety: The drug scene at Arizona State University is not a big deal. You never see people doing drugs or drinking and if they are, they usually are smoking plain cigarettes. Although it does depend on who you hang out with but drinking is the most popular here at Arizona State. In fact, Arizona State University is going to become a dry campus starting Fall 2013 so that sould be exciting!

Majors: With the countless options at Arizona State University, it was very complex to declare a major. As a freshman, I have switched my major just about three times not knowing what exactly I want to do. Finally, my third major I chose was Business Legal Studies. I enjoy all the business classes that I am taking. They are a bit of a challenge but who doesn’t like a challenge. If I could do it over again, I would have researched into depth more majors instead of rushing into one. I would have saved myself the stressful nights. One of my career goals is to own my own Law Firm where we assist families who struggle in divorce, legal separation, custody, etc. I have no concerns with being able to find a job, for my school has many job fairs thought the school year and they constantly send out emails about future opportunities within the business industry.

Majors: I have not had an internship yet but I do plan on getting one in the future. I feel like internships are great and will give students actual experience in the field they are pursuing. Many employers are going to look for internships as well as a degree. I am a little concerned about finding an internship. I know its very competitive and many students apply for them.

1 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I received hardly any financial aid. It was mostly loans. My friends also share the same problem. I feel that there are so many scholarships out there and it is very difficult to receive them. I applied for a ton online and did not get any. I had great grades in high school and worked part time. But because I was not in any club or sport I feel like I get the short end of the stick.

Drug Safety: I don't notice drugs to be a big problem at my school. Alcohol on the other hand is a huge issue. ASU is known to be a big party school. But I feel like the students who are motivated to do well and graduate know how to handle it maturely.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Being in Tempe there is Tempe Marketplace which has a variety of options from sushi to barbecue that everyone loves to go to. Mill Avenue has a lot of great restaurants - especially a staple at ASU Fuzzy's Tacos. As well, Tempe is right outside of Scottsdale so you have all the Scottsdale restaurants from high end 5 star restaurants to the typical chain or fast food options. Cost is pretty straight forward there is a variety and in Tempe there are a lot of student discounts especially for pizza and late night foods.

4 College Freshman

Nightlife: The nightlife is geared towards the older crowd if you are into bars (Mill Avenue, Old Town Scottsdale) but there are always house parties going on every weekend! There are always pool parties when its warm out as well for underage nightlife.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: ASU is so spirited like we love our sports teams and support them no matter the score. Football is huge and it is the best part of the Fall semester, the field is amazing and nice. Basketball is super fun too, love the gym it is such a cool atmosphere.

5 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: ASU is full of beautiful people. The greek tend to wear their letters a lot, the athletes tend to wear comfy gym or workout clothes a lot, and then the rest of the student population is found in normal clothing. There are good guys here you just have to find them and there are good girls here too, again you just have to find them because a lot of us are just having fun. If you don't drink or do anything like that, don't worry a lot of kids here don't and you'll still have as much fun as those who do.

Majors: I am an Global Studies and Political Science major and I love my curriculum that is why I am sticking with it. My advisors have given me a lot of ideas and direction for careers so I don't have too much concern.

1 College Sophomore

Majors: Teachers program. It is not a great program. The opportunities that are available once you graduate the program are great but the actual classes and teachers are awful and feel like a waste of time. The internship that I was placed in is great but fellow peers have been placed in terrible locations with mentors that do not want to teach them. I feel like sitting in class is a waste of my time. Id be done more quickly and better off taking the courses online and I hate online courses. Teachers waste their time with stupid group work and coloring projects. It's laughable what passes as a college course. I understand exactly why America's children and educational system is failing and why college level students still do not know how to spell correctly or think outside the box.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: I am not in a greek and I don't care either way. There is one greek in my classes but she's a normal girl. You can go your whole college career and never notice them unless you want too.

1 College Sophomore

Parking: The parking permit is ridiculously expensive, not worth it, but you would end up paying more if you just pay per day in the garages without a permit. Its stupid and greedy on ASUs part. The actual amount of parking spaces available is comically inadequate, but not funny when your trying to get to class. There might as well be no parking because so few students get spots. What's worse is the parking attendants will turn you away and have a closed garage sign up in the visitors parking lot. You're a paying ASU student and the parking workers will treat you like crap saying you cannot park in the visitors garage because its 'reserved'. Reserved for whom?! Its a terrible system and there should be multiple 10 level parking garages through out the campus, but there is not.

Arizona State is like no other university in the country. With a large, vibrant, and exciting student body that truly makes the campus unique, there is no arguing that ASU is by any means a boring place to be for the next four years of your life. As soon as you step onto ASU's campus, you will feel the immense amount of positive and exciting energy that gives you sense of belonging. Even though there are so many students around campus, you will be sure to find a niche to call your own. College is the time to find yourself and truly learn who you are as you prepare for the real world. ASU provides the perfect environment to challenge you to make "adult" decisions, and you won't always, but by the end of it all, you will mature into a dedicated individual!

Even though students will struggle with all-nighters, sports practice, parking tickets, and trying to recover from a great night, many of them couldn't ask for anything else. There will be times that you are drowning in homework and studying, but by the end of it all, you will look back and laugh. Your peers help you get through the tough times and make those social outings even more fun. ASU knows how to party hard, but when it comes to crunch time, we pull it off well. The kids here know how to have a great time, the nightlife and social settings are extremely fun, the academics are quite challenging—especially when you apply yourself and take it seriously—but most importantly, students will leave prepared for post-graduation and taking on the world. ASU is a fantastic place to meet new people and a great way to experience life in the great southwest. But don't take my word for it—come on out and experience it for yourself!
