5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: I love living in the heart of downtown Phoenix because it is a half mile away from US Airways Center where the Suns play. The Suns have $5 college nights for each home game so I have gone to 21 games so far this season. Also, there are tons of concerts at the arena. I have seen Drake, Justin Timberlake, and Imagine Dragons there. Right next to US Airways Center is Chase Field where the Diamondbacks play. I have gone to eight games there so far and I love how it is just a 10 minute walk from my dorm. I am living off-campus next semester, but remaining downtown because I love the atmosphere of downtown Phoenix.

Local Atmosphere: the surrounding places are a little unsafe. There is a lot of small cute places you can go if you're interested in that. Most people around here usually commute to the Tempe campus for fun activities. If you're into sporting events like basketball and baseball we are near the stadiums. There is art and science museums.

Local Atmosphere: Professional sports stadiums are within walking distance. First Fridays are popular. There are a lot of homeless people, though.
